Description

This is a REAL 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible. 455ci. nbsp;4 speed. Car was garaged for 25+ years prior to October 2013 when I purchased. Solid car. No rot. no holes. no patches. Body. frame & floors are solid. Car has not been undercoated so you can see there is no rot. Surface rust only!Body has all original sheet metal and chrome. Paint is 95% original. Right rear quarter was repaired and paint blended 40+ yrs ago. Original top with glass rear window. Power steering. power brakes (front disc). & power top. New clutch. shifter & shift linkage. New brake lines. fuel lines. gas tank. emergency brake cables and new exhaust. Motor completeley redone with W30 cam. Motor is a fresh build with less than 1 hour on it. Motor is #'s correct but not #'s matching. It's 455 block from a 1970 442. production date is only a few months off from original production date. Transmission is dated 1969. Car is Period Correct. Interior is in Excellent condition. All interior is original except for front seat covers and carpeting. Original water shed is undisturbed under the door paneling and in mint condition. All belt moldings are original and in excellent condition. Convertible top is the original and again in excellent condition. Car is factory & period correct.
