Overall the body is very solid with only a couple of minor imperfections. I would say that the very bottom edge of the left front fender was repaired years ago as you can now see a little bubbling. The right side door edge towards the front fender has a chip in it and there are a couple of little bubbles just starting on the leading outer edge of the trunk lid just above the chrome trim. The underside of the trunk lid is perfect. The under body is in good solid shape and frame is nice and solid. Just old factory undercoat peeling in places. Trunk pan is excellent. Quarters are original and solid. Door bottoms and door corners are in good original shape. The car has mostly original paint but there is some paint loss on the top surfaces of the car. Car really needs a repaint but I like it the way it is. It shows originality. Drive it like it is and enjoy it for the upcoming summer months and then make it nicer later. The convertible top is brand new and has a glass back window. Top is electric and goes up and down fine. The interior of the car is all original and in above average condition. Dash pad is in nice shape. Carpets show a little age but could be dyed to look nicer. Door panels are great. Even the interior lights work. We do have the original radio but needs to be installed. There was an aftermarket cassette in it that we removed. Under the hood needs detailing as does inside the trunk. Bumpers and stainless in very nice shape. Car runs drives and performs excellent! I think this color combo is the best they put on these year Oldsmobiles.
