Please scroll all the way down 140 pics of car after description 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Station Wagon 3 rows numbers matching Rocket 350/350 turbo A/C power steering power disc brakes 3 owner 85000 original miles fully documented everything on car works bought new in Ft Walton Beach Florida on 7/23/70 for $6072.23 then went to Belen New Mexico on 3/23/05 then I bought it on 3/15/15 I looked for a visa cruiser for about 4 months and this is the only one I found in this wonderful condition all the other ones needed complete restoration I bought it specifically to drive this summer and to do the Hot Rod Magazine power tour I did 3 days St Louis-Memphis-Birmingham- Florence AL 1500 miles in 4 days it was in the low to mid 90's and I cruised from 70-85 mph with the a/c on the trip went off without a hitch it cruised great it used zero oil tranny fluid or coolant. I wasn't planning on selling it till the fall but just got an awesome deal on a 69 convertible 4 sp chevelle. Everybody loved the wagon I get more reaction from it than any of the muscle cars I have owned this is what people remember riding in as kids. It drives straight brakes straight no pulling. The transmission was rebuilt in 1976 (have documentation) the car had 62000 miles on it it has only had 23k put on it in 39 years. I have put around $2000 in it just doing maintenance stuff $750 worth of double adjustable shocks the car dove and rolled really bad not anymore tranny service and modulator full tune up had starter rebuilt and put a 1 wire alternator on rebuilt carb new battery new belts and hoses had a new clutch put on air conditioner and recharged with R12 replaced blower motor oil sending unit new front rotors-pads-calipers-hoses rear shoes master cylinder front end is completely solid car drives great. It is a really solid car doesn't look like it's ever been wrecked no rust on the underneath of car floors or rockers or the pan in cargo area bottoms of doors have surface rust bottom of tailgate is starting to rust not even close to being rusted through or anything there is some bubbling on passenger side of skylight it's not soft it's solid it's been repaired once my guess is they treated some rust and then put filler over it and it's bubbling the guy I bought it from said it was done about 15 years ago along with the repaint a little bubbling on the bottom of drivers fender paint is very presentable but has it's imperfections it's shiny but has flaws in it that don't show up in pics it's a great driver not to nice to drive anywhere interior is wonderful seats and carpet are great has the optional front and rear oldsmobile mats and electric rear glass and still has the mats in the back for the cargo area these are always gone on these cars. All 5 doors open and shut great. Installed 2 power ports next to stereo for gps and phone. I put a pioneer 140 wt stereo aux and usb input 6.25 speakers in front kick panels and 6x9s in the back sounds awesome. Dual turbo exhaust with h pipe sounds just right. 17” intro wheels with 235/55 front 255/55 back tires are great. It doesn't smoke use or burn any oil it leaks a little bit I think it's coming from the drain plug.

Occasionally the transmission can't decide what gear it wants to be in and downshifts and upshifts a few times I put it in neutral and back in drive and works fine I have talked to several tranny shops and mechanic friends and all say without hesitation the governor in the tranny is gummed up and sticking and needs to be cleaned once again with everything else I have been doing to it it wasn't high on the priority list it did it a few times on the trip no big deal it's been doing it since I bought it and has actually gotten better. All the glass is in great shape so is the chrome and stainless trim wood grain is in great shape too. Tail lights are in great shape dash is in great shape no cracks and clear plastic in great shape. I have a brand new in the box electronic distributor and new drivers shoulder seat belt set up that go with the car. Sorry about the lengthy description.
