Have up for NO RESERVE auction a 1947 Oldsmobile Coupe. Equipped with 350 engine with electronic ignitio, 00R transmission with transmission cooler. Power steering, ower brakes, eat and A/C, ilt and telescoping steering wheel, ower antenna and power trunk lid. Car has new Summit Racing chrome wheels and moon center caps, ew tires, ew dual exhaust system with twister mufflers. Exhaust pipes run out on each side just in front or rear wheels. Car has had new dual chamber master cylinderinstalled and all 4 wheel cylinders rebuilt.Engine runs cool and holds good oil pressure. All interior and exterior lights are working with the exception of license plate light. All gauges workexcept the gas gauge and speedometer.Dash is uncut anddash chrome and instrument panel glass is in good shape. The A/C controls are mounted behind the clove box door. Exterior has been painted in flat black and has had the rear fenders flared and the trunk lid cut down, he hood has been shaved. This car has been restored for many years and there is some bondo and paintcracking where modifications have been done. I see no indication of rust through on thebody. The stainless is in good shape, runk hinges have some pitting, Grill has no rust and shines good but has some slight fading. The trunk floor has some rust through but thetrunk floor has been covered with some type of rubberized covering. The floor pans are good, s far as I can see. There is a small piece of metal welded over each door wing window to mount door mirrors. There are currently Harley Davidson Motorcycle mirrors mounted there. Engine runs really good and cool, rans shifts good. Brakes are original drum and will stop the car but are a little weak. Car has later model vynil seats and they have some splitting on the front bench and top rear by package tray. Needs headliner and carpet could be replaced. Door glass has some clouding and passeenger glass has 2 cracks. Doors close up really well. Would make a great old ratrod.
