Description

You are viewing "Nellie Belle" as she isaffectionately known as in our family. This is a 1985 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. My nearly 80 yr old Aunt has owned Nellie for 28 yrs. She can no longer drive and sadly doesn't want Nellie todeteriorate any further. I just picked her up at my Aunt's house and drove her home.
The pictures pretty much tells the story:
Equipped with a 350 (5.0) auto. trans. A/C needs freon, ut works fine. The car runs excellent. Very classic road car. The transmission pan gasket is leaking and will need to be replaced. All of the electrics work with the exception of the driver's seat. It will not adjust forward or backward. The motor is spinning, ut will not move. With that being said, ll of the windows work. Third row seat in rear. Headliner is falling down. The seats are not ripped or torn. The carpet is in good shape. The dash is not cracked. The exterior needs restoration as shown. A couple of pieces of the plastic bumper trim needs replacing. The faux wood grain needs replacing. On the passenger's side rear wheel well is repaired damage from a previous parking lot incident years ago, ut it's starting to show through. There is a small dent from another mystery parking lot dent on the driver's rear lower panel. The plastic trim when you open the tailgate needs replacing. The passenger's front door pin is weak and needs replacing, ut opens and closes fine. Was Va. state inspected in July of this year. My Aunt never drove more that 5 miles to town and they never drove the car back in the day more that a 150 radius at best. I think this car could give many more years of service to the right person.
