Description

This truck may be one of a kind. It has a Marmon Herrington all wheel drive chassis with a turbo charged Detroit 8.2 diesel and Allison automatic transmission. It has only13,337 miles. 26'6'' long, 6' wide and 11'6'' high. It is 74" inside height. It has a hydraulic liftgate in the back with roll up door, liding doors on both sides in the front and the middle of the truck and a sliding metal door in between the forward cabin and the rear workshop. She was made to service train tracks and had wheels to ride on the rails. The wheels are missing but the hydraulic legs are intact and train wheels would bolt on if you want to ride on tracks. I was going to build a go anywhere motor home that could travel on closed railroad tracks and drive away when the tracks end. It has a strong flat roof that would be great for a rooftop deck. This is the truck Mad Max wishes he had. I bought it in Boston and drove it home on the highway, nbsp;It can keep up with the traffic and could drive over the traffic if you wanted to. It has been sitting a couple of years, o I bought a brand new battery and it started right up. I registered it and drove it home from where I had it stored just a couple of weeks ago. If you check the fluids and filters I think you could drive it home without a problem. It has a mounted spare tire. I may be willing to drive it to you for a fee. I like road trips.
Buyer needs to pay $500 via PayPal within 24 hours of winning the sale and bring or send the ballance within 7 days. It can stay here for 30 days. If you need to keep it here longer it will be $50 per month due the first of each month. If you buy this truck, nbsp;you will be ready for the zombie apocalypse. It would be a great all terrain service truck. You could use the hydraulic legs to level it out in the rough terrain
Ebay wouldn't accept the VIN as a 1982, o we listed it as an 1980. The tag says 1982.
