Description

This is a 1967 Wolseley 18/85 right hand drive saloon or landcrab. The car came from California and appears to have been in a dry desert climate for most of its life. The body is solid with only surface rust on panels that were exposed to the sun causing the paint to fade away. The interior is basically shot as the sun has dried out the seat fabric and vinyl door panels. The rear glass is missing. there is one in the car but it appears to be for a smaller car. There is a fellow in Canada who has a rear glass which will fit that he may be willing to sell. The previous owner replaced brake parts but the brake system needs to be bled as it takes many pumps of the pedal to get a full brake pedal. The gas tank was flushed and sealed and the engine runs and does not sound too bad. so the car moves under its own power. The car should have a full restoration and there are many spare parts. like a speedometer. gauges and clock that go with it. There are also several repair manuals as well. If you are into British cars this may be the one to take to the shows and enjoy drives as it has an automatic transmission and power steering. It is possible that it may be the only one at a car show. The vehicle is sold as is where is and pickup of the car is solely the responsibility of the purchaser. Forgot to mention that the engine is basically an MGB. so parts should not be difficult to obtain. /p>
