1946 International Truck - KB1 Series
VIN: HF388768113 Wheel BaseThis car was last inspected in Virgina in 1984;it was then placed in storage.
We are liquidating a collection of cars and parts,this is one of them.
We put in a new battery and ran anauxiliary fuel line toa portable tank in back of bed, ee photo.
Engine started right up!Engine sounds strong, id not over heatand no major smoke.Runs and drives; shifts well into all gears.PLEASE NOTE ---- > NO BRAKES!!!!!
Gaugesseem to be working.Ignition cylinder is a little loose in dash.
Pleasetake the time to study all photos well.Frame and body are very solid; no major rust in frame.
Cab,underneathdoors, ear fenders, nd bed are all good.There is some rust in front fenders, ery repairable.
Front & rear bumpers are solid but chrome is peeling off.We do have most of the chrome for the front, ee photos.Also of air cleaner, xtra master cylinder,and other spare parts.
Please note that this is a crank out windshield and it will need replaced or repaired!There are companiesavailable to repair these frames with stainless steel.
There is some rust in certain areas; would make great project car or street rod.
Speedometer reads 67,866 ; this may be original miles but we have no way of authenticating it. Car comes with clean PA title with an exempt odometer status.

TheInternational Harvester K and KB Seriesare trucks that were produced byInternational Harvester, he first being the K introduced in mid 1940. In total there were 42 models, 42 different wheelbase lengths and load ratings ranging from 1/2 ton to 90,000lbs.[1]They are best known for their durability, rewar design in a postwar era, nd low price. The followup to the K, he KB, as introduced in 1947, ith the characteristic difference being a widened lower grill appearing like "wings". Between 1947 and 1949 122,000 KB-1 and KB-2 trucks were sold.
