This has to be eBay's automotive FIND OF THE DAY! I am offering an absolute one of a kind 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne Impala that was never used as an automobile. I have been advised by the previous owner of 25 years that the body of this superbly conditioned 1958 Chevy Impala was converted into a beverage utility vehicle in 1959 and used as a center piece in a Michigan vintage car themed restaurant for over 40 years then sold to the previous owner whom has owned the vehicle for the past 25 years.
The front and rear bumpers were removed decades ago, s were the door handles and light bezels and sold to use on another 1958 Impala show car. This absolutely unique automotive vending apparatus was recently sold from a very large car collection containing over 200 vehicles and the owner is exhausted and parting with some veritably rare automotive artifacts.
This would be an exceptional one of a kind opportunity for an Impala enthusiast to re purpose the original sheet metal from this unbelievable "survivor" as the exterior is (believe it or not) rust free, ent free and ding free and the exterior body panels are in excellent, nused condition (this vehicle was NEVER used as a driving car, nly a restaurant showpiece). The steering box in present and the vehicle does steer (by inserting a crowbar into the wheels) needless to say you won't be driving this one home!
There are small scuff marks to the paint which can be buffed out. Where on God's green earth can you find another one of these?? If you know someone in the restaurant business with an automotive theme or an entrepreneur who attends or vends at collector shows, wap meets (or one helluva unforgettable garage sale) then give them a call, nd they will thank you profusely, ecause to build something like this today with sheet virgin, nmolested sheet metal from a perfectly maintained 1958 Impala body would cost well over $20,000.
