Description
1925 Maxwell 4 door sedan. Looks to be 100% complete with an older restoration. Car starts but won't stay running. seems like a fuel problem. Replaced spark plugs. coil. radiator hoses. changed the oil. and replaced the anti-freeze and it has a brand battery. Motor appears to have been rebuilt years ago. Purchased this car from a storage unit. The previous owner had passed away. the car was stored inside for over 20 years. Interior is in nice shape with minor wear. the glass is all in nice shape. still has the window shade whats left of it in the back window. nd all 6 windows go up and down nice. Looks like it was painted with lacquer paint years ago. its starting to crack as you can see in the pictures. The body is really nice and solid and straight with minor surface rust. The lights and horn work. This would make a nice car to restore without having to spend a lot of money. 1925 was the last year for the Maxwell motor company. In 1926 Chrysler had taken over. All the tires hold air but look a little dry rotted. Will need the gas tank cleaned but the vacuum tank looks fine. The car is very solid underneath the chassis is in very good shape. This is a pretty big car. rolls and stops fine. I have a copy of the front of the title and the bill of sale. But I DO NOT have the original title.
