Description
Due to health problems and now losing my job. we are forced to sell my husbands fabulous car collection. This is a 1966 Sunbeam Alpine Series V. I will do my best to answer any question you may have on this car. This was one of his restoration projects. It is a complete car. but has been torn down to be painted. Has a ton of parts. Also has another door window. Has a brandnew bag that has new weather stripping. If you need more photos of what it has. I'll send a photo. I'm taking some tomorrow for a few people that asked. It does have the chrome bumpers. and the windshield. along with the triangle vent windows are off the car. They are included though. The motor turned by hand when we bought it. but it has not been cranked by us. The owner before the man we bought it from said he had just worked the engine over and it was running. but we cannot guarantee this. It had been bought to do a Tiger Clone after my husband had purchased a Tiger motor taken out of an original Tiger. After my husband did some research. he found that it is apparently hard to tell the difference between these and the other others after you fix the tunnel or something like that. and he felt someone might buy it to sell as an original. So he decided to just fix the car back up to it's original splendor. but due to circumstances. you can see I am putting his cars on auction. The car came from Puerto Rico. I'm not sure. but it looks like it was a race car at one time. You can see it has some stripes along the bottom and I think they raced these cars. You'll want to check with the great guys on the Sunbeam forums to see what they think. We just wanted to repaint it to the original green it once was. The windshield and glass looks great. Very little rust through spots. The only one I found was along the rail where the driver's seat goes. The seats go with the car. but they need complete restoration. You can see the great condition the car is in. and we probably should have sold it back to the man that had it before. but I don't have his number. The car need new tires all the way around!! Two are flat. There is a hardtop that was once another type cars top. He only purchased it because it has the hardware on it. It will be included. This will be a really great car. and the Sunbeam people can tell you from the photos that it is in remarkable condition to restore. We have a lot more photos if you want them. Please ask all the questions you want and I will see what we can figure out or send to give you a great idea of what you're buying. We are asking for a $500 deposit.
