Description

This is a little 1970 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller. A great little woody built in England and made from the wood Ash.

This particular Morris retains many of it’s original characteristics including right hand drive. It has 35000 original miles. It has been a Florida resident for many years and a luggage rack and surfboard have been installed and will be included. It states Beach Patrol on the side. The paint has a great patina to it that is not blistered and has no rust holes. The wood is beautifully aged and in great shape. It’s a solid and straight car. The hardware on this car is fully functional and denotes the craftsmanship of the times. Trim is stainless steel and is free of pits and dents and the badging in front and back are still in place and in nice shape.

Under the hood this Traveller sports the original 1098 cc engine and a 12 volt electrical system. It starts every time and cruises around very pleasurably. I have recently installed new brake cylinders. The tires are Portawall- white wall- tires with 95 percent tread on them plus a new Portawall spare in the back under the floor. The wheels are original with the Morris logo on the hub cap. The transmission is a four speed manual and works very smoothly. It also has the original Morris shifter knob.

The interior is in very nice shape. Seats are comfortable and in really nice shape complete with seat belts. There is a spot on the upper right side in the rear that has a tear but not down to the padding. I’ve tried to show it in the photos. The headliner is also in very good shape does not sag and is not torn. Carpet and door panels are very good as well. A JVC cd mp3 player has also been added to keep up with the times. All windows work and the glass in in great shape. Complete with an assortment of woody and beach stickers that include a Morris registry.

All around the car is in very nice shape and a blast to drive around. It goes without saying that it turns heads and starts conversations everywhere it goes. I have attached videos of the car driving down the road as well as a walk around where you can hear the motor running and see the car as if you were here.
