History: Original vehicle built by Lloyd Motoren Werke GmBh of Bremen Germany between 1955 – 1961 imported into Canada and the United States for approximately 3 years. Sales did not meet expectations and importation was ceased in 1953 making this car extremely rare!

Engine: Air Cooled 4 stroke 2 cylinder engine fitted with solex down draft carburetor and overhead values requires minimum attention. It is not effected by outside temperatures and generates a cruising range of 51 MPG.

The Engine of the Lloyd 600 was designed as a pronounced low piston speed unit in order to achieve maximum engine life. At 4500 RPM it produces a maximum 19 ebhp giving the car a top speed of 60 MPH.

Body: This is a custom made one of a kind Body using what is believed to be a 1948 Mercury Monarch. This body has been literally cut in half both vertically and horizontally (Top removed) to perfectly fit the Lloyd’s frame. The Custom builder inspired by the 1953 Panhard JR Dyna Roaster and the 1954 Kaiser Darrin spent 5 years cutting shaping welding and fitting the body perfectly onto the Lloyd frame while keeping the original front and rear Tubular powder coated metal bumpers. The Chrome head lights and tail lights are from the Mercury the builder also hand crafted a front Chrome Grill and hood air intake.

Brakes: 4 (200mm) Drum Brakes

Drive Train: equipped with the original 4 speed fully synchromeshed Fichtel and Sachs manual transmission FWD 6 volt negative ground.

Misc – Seats are re upholstered MG seats done in white to match the cockpit trim interior has new black carpet with a custom made Wooden Dash and cockpit backboard. Tires are Firestone 4.25 – 15 Blackwalls.

This Lloyd/Merc Micro Car was barn stored for 14 years and last driven in 2001 since purchasing in 2014 1 front light and 1 rear signal light have been re chromed the tubular Bumpers have been sanded and powder coated Instrument panel has been stripped and painted switches have all been changed to British Lucas switches Muffler and pipes have been custom built and replaced. Engine starts and runs continuously Brake and clutch Master Cylinder linesneed to be replaced orbled cleaned fluid changed and adjusted. Because of that car cannot be driven to buyers home. Car has been started in all forward gears moves freely and functions as expected.
