Description

TO CONFIRM: this is a 4 speed standard shift Daimler SP250 manual transmission; non-synchro first gear. Shifts perfectly, ll gears.

.1963 Daimler SP250. BODY: PERFECT-fiberglass & paint. NO cracks, eel, ubbles, aves, ings, O uneven panels/NO uneven doors-with flush closing &nice allignments/NO uneven trunk-engine lids, tcetera. Added insulation on complete floor under carpets (not done when new & not done on most restores).

4 SPEED manual. Original SP250 motor, rans, ear; the rest is mostly original. Starts easy (no need to pull throttle or pump gas; just starts with turn of key & idles with no playing,& revs/runs decently. Titled in my name with a Florida title (NO brandings/negative labels; no rebuilt, o salvage,no liens & no bonded stamps.

NEW items: in the period of restore/revamps, amp; within the last month: water & fuel pumps; four wheel disk brakes & new suspension parts; interior (sealer paint & insulation [shown] installed under carpet); a new top (but got ripped upon install, ow has 6" repair patch at the bottomboth lowersides); paint (no fractures, racks, r peeling); NEW tires; chromes/emblems; etcetera (to many to list). NEW GLASS. Dual exhaust extentions have been added to the NEW EXHAUST. Also, ew NAPA 750 CCA battery just installed (7/1/15). A gas filter, oisture inhibitor-gasstabilizers, igh test gas,was added. An aftermarket shift knob is now on (not shown in the interior picture).

MOTOR: Heads & valves were completely redone with valve seals installed-ported/polished (SP250's did not originally have seals which would cause some oils smoke;the upgraded/modernized valve sealsalleviates it). I have the receipt for the parts & labor on this job. The small "rubber" top hoses were nicely done away with by custom *copper soldered* pipes. Cleaner & less leaking (can easily be replaced back to original rubber hoses). A new clutch, ressure plate & throw out bearing was installed beforethe motor wasreinstalled.

THE FRAME:was in excellent condition when the previous owner took the body off. He prepped, ainted, amp; remounted the body with new required parts. The Hood closes flush (slightly open in picture).Doors/fenders, tceterahave good allignments & close as desired. Reinforced frame by Jaguar.

Needs emergency brake parts (note emergency brake handle is not installed & I do not have it). The left rear brake is *sticking*, ot locking up. I have a replacement kit to rebuild the wheel cylinder AND am leaving the emergency brake handle/sticky brakefor the next owner to do. ALL other refresh issues have been taken care of(oil, as & additives, hecks of electric fuel pump & flows, tc). A Mr. John Carey supplies parts (& has the emergency brake handle/parts) & Daimler SP250 much knowledge he use to restore them); daimlerusa@yahoo.com

Car comes with a parts supply resource CD; a Daimler SP250 illustrated hardcover details & history book(1 inch thick; sells for about $70 on Ebay) & a trunk full of parts. The car is finished as in the first10 pictures. The remaining pictures was its restore/revamp process documentation. Also has the original console ashtray in trunk. A large folder of receipts. Previous owner said he had many more, ut did not keep them like he should have.

PICTURES of theVEHICLE DATA PLATE(black/silver); MNTITLE copy; FLORIDA TITLEin my name; inside trunk (or boot as English say?); & other pictures available.

An As Is sale. $500 deposit is non-refundable & due in 24 hours. Full payment balance due in 7 days; 3 weeks to get the car or it goes into storage at buyers expense (wouldn't be released until storage paid). No warranty implied or buyer's remorse pacificationsafter sale.

FOR BUYER ASSURANCES: The state of Florida requires a VERIFICATION of vehicle numbers, itle to be transferred from,&the car's presence. Therefore, had a Jacksonville city police officer come to my residence (where car is & where car insurance *Hagerty* has it listed) to verify the vehicle ID number (VIN), he Minnisota title/VIN, amp; sign/write Badge# onthe Florida required form. Thesewere then used to get a Florida title in myname. A buyer is welcome to hire a professional classic car inspector to check the car, umbers, eet me, amp; drive around if they want. It can sit running for the entireaverage 40 minute inspection. Inspectors also take a barrage of photos (which these days I'm sure they text immediately, ut also place in their report). Vehicle is totally operational other than sticky brake. Therefore, t is "operational" for transport carrier questions. If this exact car is seen anywhere else for sale, didn't place that ad. And, his is only listed on Ebay by me. Itis absolutely a four speed manual shift trans (I emphasize this because somewhere on one of the"grab" auto ads it says an automatic trans for this car with the link to thisEbay listing).

This is a "perpetual" sale. The prices/dollar amountswill stayfirm as presently listed. Changes may be made if the car isfor sale in July of the year 2016. The price will probably increase at that time unless there is an atomic war, economic downturn, tc. This is"not" Priceline selling. The price is my price, ot buyers. This is not a death bed sale & wouldn't make a difference even if it was. I would have my heirs sell the engine before I get buried in it.
