1961 Ford Econoline Pickup This is the nicest Econoline I have seen on the market in a long time! The body is super straight and the contours are nice and smooth! This truck is rust free and very solid! You can look down these panels with confidence and see a beautiful reflection it the paint that was laid out extremely well and done with high attention to detail! The panel gaps all line up nice as well. The bumpers shine true and bright and the rear bumper is a full custom job! The glass on this truck is nice and clear and all trim has been polished very well. The seven foot box has been refinished with a wood floor and stainless strips that create a nice contrast of building materials! It has a new Ford emblem and even the hinges on the doors have been painted as well as the whole exterior! This is the year Ford introduced a new line of cab-over light-duty vans and pickups! With its unibody construction it is nice and light and easy to maneuver and at about 2500 pounds power steering is not needed! The interior is super cool having matched paint everywhere including the dash, oor panels and engine cover! This paint on the interior presents itself just as well as the exterior! The seats have been recovered and look great as well. The carpet is all new and free of stains and so is the headliner! All of the hardware works as it should. The stereo has been redone with a retro Ford head unit that has an AUX jack. The engine is a rebuilt 170 and it runs good! It is also a three on the tree that shifts nice and smooth. We purchased this truck and didn’t do the restoration so I can’t tell you how long ago the rebuild was done but I can tell you it runs STRONG!
