Description

I am selling my 1939 Hudson Model 92 sedan. The odometer reads 38,530 original miles. The paint is mostly original as is the rest of the car It has a 1946 hudson 212 ci engine with the distributor on top. Engine runs very good with no smoke. The fake tank has been cleaned and the carb has been rebuilt. The brakes are weak but just need to be gone through. The car is 76 years old and is very very rust free. The rubber parts are dried out but all present. The interior is all original besides the front seat has been recovered. The car was in the movie “1941” in 1976 directed by Steven Spielberg about Los Angeles after the Pearl Harbor in 1941. It was owned by Bill Albright at the time then later sold to Ronald Fellows then to Mark Brians of Belton Texas who I purchased the hudson from. He is a vice president of a Hudson club chapter in his area. The car runs and drives great I have driven the car to a couple of car shows in the Reno area and cruises down the road with ease at 60 MPH, PS verified. I intend to restore it but things changed and I cannot keep the car. It is a very good and its excellent condition would make for a easy and less expensive restore. I have never needed any kind of penetrating oil on anything that I have worked on. There is still the original black paint on the frame. The tube radio even works once it is warmed up and sounds great. The horn wire is disconnected but you should hear those 2ft long trumpets blow. Speedometer has recently stopped working correctly as it starts at 60mph and goes up from there. The running board rubber is breaking up do to drying out but the metal is rust free. The tires are brand new Coker bias plus with approximately 130 miles on them. The original jack is in the trunk as is the burtex trunk mat. A $500 non refundable deposit thru pay pal with full payment due within seven days of the auction closing. Cash in Hand or Bank wire are only forms of payment accepted. Car will not be released until full payment is made. Removal is within 30 days of the auction closing unless seller agreed to an extension. when you buy the car you bought it not come look and see if you want it. Car is 76 years old and does not have a warranty of any kind. I am a car enthusiast not a scum bag trying to rob anyone. Thank you for looking Drew.
