This is a complete nut and bolt. no expense spared restoration of a 1929 Packard 633 Runabout. Look closely at the 97 photos in the eBay gallery below and watch the embedded YouTube video of the inspeciton and test drive. This Packard is stunning!! The Runabouts are one of the most desired bodies. especially on the longer 133 inch wheelbase models such as this 633. This motorcar is ready for concours showing as well as cross-country touring. It drives beautifully as you can watch on the YouTube video of the inspection and test drive of this Packard. This Runabout was purchased new at Earle C Anthony Packard on May 31st. 1929. making it a California delivery car when new. It is Vehicle ID number 249055. The original data plate is still attached to the firewall. This Packard was restored by Don Bloom of Eugene Oregon over a ten year period and completed in about 2007. It was then purchased by our client who has it consigned with us for sale. We love the elegant magnolia exterior livery as well as the matching magnolia leather interior. It is accented by the red coach stripes as well as the red wire wheels with complimentary stainless steel outside spokes. The chrome is excellent as is the restoration quality throughout. The magnolia is also complimented by the dark brown Haartz cloth top that has the correct oak bows and chrome hardware. The motorcar comes complete with the side curtains. car cover and a set of 1920's era golf clubs!! The 320 cu. in. straight eight engine runs flawlessly and the transmission shifts smooth and well all through the gears. The oil pressure is excellent and is indicative of a thorough mechanical restoration. The oil pump was rebuilt and the car was thoroughly serviced for the current owner by Cal Sost at Custom Auto Service in Santa Ana. CA. Rarely does a 633 Runabout come to market. We have never seen one so elegantly restored as this example. This is a wonderful car to add to any discerning collection.
