Description

This is a super nice 61 Valiant V200 in great condition for a 54 year old car. I bought this car in 2005 from what I believe to be the 2nd owner. Car has the original 1961 black and gold license plates and has been well cared for. Rust free. this car has spent it's entire life in the Lodi/Modesto California area where there is no salt in the air or on the roads. It has the original rims and hub caps. Set up as a reliable classic daily driver . this is a fabulous collectable A body Mopar classic. Factory Slant six 170 has a Super Six conversion utilizing a custom fabricated intake and an NOS Stromberg WW 275 Carb. An artfully designed electric choke set up completes the intake package. Dutra Dual exhaust feeds into a 2 to 1 collector then out the back with a large free flowing Walker muffler. It is quiet and it breathes freely and just adores freeway speeds!!! It has an electronic ignition conversion and re-routed fuel line using fuel injection hose/fittings. The transmission is a really cool and good working Torqueflight 904 push button automatic with re-routed cooler lines using hydraulic hose/fittings to accommodate the custom exhaust and solid rod throttle shaft. The braking system has been upgraded to a dual reservoir master cylinder with all the brake hoses. shoes and slave cylinders replaced within the last 2 years Comes with a factory service manual. previous owner history. extra Torqueflight 904 that I got out of a 63 Dart and 2 or 3 1 barrel intakes and exhaust manifolds along with a complete head off a 76 225 Slant 6. I will also provide a box of parts that has the original 1 barrel BBD. air cleaner. parts for a GM ignition conversion (better spark) a dampener and a few timing chain covers along with the extra parts I got when I bought the car in 2005. It also comes with a really nice car cover. Cool vintage classic would be awesome show car. weekend cruiser. daily driver. or addition to any collection. The body is super straight and rust free. the underside is clean and solid. This V200 is loaded with trim and all of it is intact and in excellent condition. Original color presents excellent with some minor blemishes as expected with a 54 year old car. There is a paint line around the rear bumper/quarter panels shown in photos that I can't explain though I see no evidence of a collision or repair. It has a cool stance. Doors close tight and windows work nice. Get's looks and compliments everywhere we roll. Fully redone interior is excellent. everything redone with excellent quality. Original gauges in the dash all work properly as do the lights and electronics. The exception is the fuel gauge stopped working recently and the temp gauge works intermittently. There is some paint flaking around the instrument cluster as shown in photo. Odometer read 63k + but obviously a car of this age has rolled over at least once. Previous owner history may or may not show date/mileage of rebuild but this car burns no oil. Headliner is excellent. Seats and carpet are excellent. Has front seat belts. Needs a left lower kick panel installed of which I will include the material. All of the window rollers and door handles work appropriately. Has the original key set with one for the ignition/doors and another for the trunk. OEM tube radio still works great to tune in your Am oldies stations! AWESOME interior. Windshield has a few chips but no cracks. Small amount of fog in the passenger side lower corner. The rest of the glass is intact and in great condition. Motor starts idles and runs fantastic. great power. 3 speed auto shifts smooth and strong through the gears. stock rear end. Gear ratios are great around town and cruises really nice on the freeway as well. Stock suspension is excellent and the car rides and drives like new. Strong. FAST. nbsp; and reliable. ready to roll. definite daily driver capable. Overall this is a really cool American Classic car in great condition all around. Awesome show car. weekend cruiser. daily driver. or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast. collector. or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage Classic at a great price.
