Very rarely optioned 1969 Satellite Sport with 61,450 original miles. Center console, ed interior with white buckets and rear seat, M/FM radio, ood grain steering wheel, and 3/4 rear end,26” Radiator, nbsp;AC, ower brakes, ower steering, way bar, ood grain door panels, ilver with a factory red stripe down the side (like a Roadrunner). It is possibly one of a kind from the factory. It didn't sell until 1970 so it was likely a fully loaded showroom model that they couldn't move. It was sold in Memphis and made its way to Chattanooga staying in the same family. It’s been off the road since 93' when they took the keys away from the old man. Registered to the Same family it's whole life until I bought it. I verified it was 1 previous registered owner at the DMV. Comes with Tennessee plate that shows it was last legally on the road in 93’ (Prior to me).
Original title from previous owner comes with the car (The DMV didn’t confiscate it when I registered it!). I have a clean title under my name for it. Comes with 2 build sheets (Both are laminated and one of them isn’t the best “assembly” of the build sheet puzzle). Also comes with Full factory service manual on digital format and the original Glovebox manual.
Very solid start to a restoration, oadrunner clone, r GTX clone (as it has the GTX "hard to find" trim. Lots of good valuable parts on this car. The Fender tag and VIN match. The car drives great and smooth.
Below are the details. Please ask me any questions you may have:
INTERIOR:Wood Grain steering wheel - Great conditionCenter Console - Great conditionCarpet is original and is in awesome shape. I'm sure a proper cleaning would make it look even betterThe original red Headliner and sound proofing is in tact with some safety pins holding the seams together in the rear as the stitching came undone.Dome light works but cover is not not installed (It came with the car uninstalled and in the center console)Includes brand new red Headliner and remaining parts to finish Headliner. (Including sail panels for interior)Courtesy lamp under dash padGlove box lamp works.Center console light worksTrunk lamp isn’t hooked up I don’t think.Trunk key works in glove box, runk, nd center consoleIgnition key works in ignition but not doors. These are very easy to re-key I just hadn’t gotten around to it.All seat belts are there.Original seat belt clips in rearLap and shoulder belts still there and mountedFM / AM radio - doesn't work as the left thumb wheel doesn't "click" it on. I was offered $500 for this radio as-is but declined and I wanted to keep the car all original.Washer motor attempts to run but doesn't have water in the bottleWipers workOil and Brake lights on dash look to be functional.Gauges don’t work. I haven’t troubleshooted that yet but I assume they need to be hooked up.Center console is in excellent shape as you can see in the photos. The seats are untouched by me. They could use a deep cleanHorn worksWood Door Panel paper is peeling offin some areas but is complete. It can be re-glued.Remote mirror hardware there but disconnected maybeSignals work. The turn signal switch feels very smooth and “locks” both directions as it should. The driver side’s Window crank handle’s knob broke off and is in the center console of the car
MECHANICAL:The car runs and drive fine. Needs some brake work to go at fast speeds.318 w/ 2bbl Engine runs really well. (I filled the tank with supreme gas and have been running that).Carb was rebuilt.A904 transmission (Based on the fender tag. I have not confirmed). Pan seal looks to be leaking and could us a replacement. Tyranny goes through Park, eutral, everse, rive, . I haven’t verified it shifts to third yet as I wanted to fix the rear brakes before I did that!8 3/4 rear end (a bit big but that's what it got from the factory)New radiatorNew BatteryNew Starter RelayNew Fuel PumpRecent Oil ChangePower steeringPower brakes - They look to be 11" drums front and rear. New wheel cylinders installed on left and right front drums. I bled the front but could not get fluid to the rear. Comes with 2 new rear wheel cylinders from NAPA.New fuel tank installed (I have the original as well which will go with the car)New fuel tank sending unit installedE-brake worksAll AC equipment looks to be there.Single Exhaust - Likely originalAdded Tranny fluid (It was a little low)
BODY:No rear window installed. Car comes with a correct AC-tinted one in good condition. Also have all clips and original chrome for rear window.Vinyl top pulled and you can see the original “Red X” on the passenger side from the factory. Comes with original Vinyl top trim and clipsThe roof is in excellent shape for being all original and no rust holes in it.Some dents around. Please see photos. All Glass looks great.Antenna is installed and looks original.Original Left/Right threaded lug nutsOriginal hubcapsTires hold air and work fineTrunk pan starting to go. Comes with Original spare, ardware, nd Jack (This is very rare)Headlights and tailights work greatRear Trunk Trim, ront Grille, ailight Trimall are complete and niceHas correct GTX tail lightsWheel lip moldings look great
WHAT I KNOW IS MISSING:“Sport Satellite” Wood trim for right-side of dash(These go up on eBay once in awhile but if you’re going to clone it you’ll need a different one anyways)Black triangle “release knob” for passenger seat. The seats still release fine and go back and forth. These are cheap and easy to find.Right rear side marker reflective lense (it has the bracket for it, ust not the lense).Passenger side bottom chrome trim (Below door). I have additional white clips for it that aren’t installed. Most people end up pulling these off anyways.
