Description

This is a great project for someone looking for a real "S" code 'Cuda. Its a real Rallye Red 340 'Cuda with black top and black guts. The body has been soft media blasted to bare metal, horoughly power washed, prayed in epoxy primer and then sealed with a tinted sealer. It is NOT paint. All of the rust damage is clearly visible so you know what you are getting. The Vin# on title matches fender tag, oth body stampings and it has the orig 727 torque flight transmission with matching vin stamp. It has a complete 340 engine out of a '72 'Cuda. It spins over but needs rebuilding. I dont have the correct motor mounts so I just set it in place on some wood blocks for transporting. It also has its orig 8-3/4 rear end with drum brakes on all 4 corners. I don't know what the ratio is. The car needs floor pan, oor jamband trunk floor work as well as some work on the upper cowl but most of the front of the car has no rust. The hood, nner and outer front fenders and doorsare good. The tail light panel, oofand frames rails are good. It needs qtrs. on both sides and the rear deck filler panel. All of the sheet needed for this car is available aftermarket from a number of diff suppliers. I can also do ALL the sheet metal for $40 pr hr (professionally) if anyone is interested. The grill s almost perfect. I have all the chrome trim around the doors but not the front or rear windshield chrome. It has a good windshield glass and both qtr glasses. I don't have the rear glass or any door glass. I may have an AC/heater box. The steering wheel has been restored. The rally gauges are included. The seat frames and brackets have been blasted and primed. They are ready for foam and seat covers.

I have too many projects in front of this car right now so I have decided to sell it in lieu of completing it. This is not a fire sale nor desperation liquidation so abandon any dreams of getting it “cheap”. It IS for sale at a fair market value not some pie in the sky fantasy number.

Don't bother emailing me with pointless questions like "what is least you will take for it"? (I want the most I can get, uh!) or "what is your reserve"?

If your a serious buyer make me a serious offer or just bid on it.

WHATEVER YOU DO DONT BID ON IT IF YOU CANT COMMIT. I don't have time or patience for buyers who back out after they have won the auction and outbid other parties who may actually want the car.

I have done my best to describe this car but there is no accounting for individual taste. As usual winning bid is NOT an invitation to inspect but a legally binding contract to purchase. This car is available for inspection any time prior to auction ending. I urge any interested parties to either inspect car themselves or send someone to act as their agent. YOU WIN THE AUCTION I EXPECT YOU TO PAY FOR THE CAR. This car is sold without warranty. 20% non-refundable down pymt due72 hrsafter auction end. Vehicle must be picked up within 3 weeks or storage charges will apply.
