Aloha from Hawaii! This is a beautiful survivor rare four door hardtop. The last year MOPAR ever built a mid-sized four door hardtop. The hardtop design gives the car a very sporty look. The color of the car is really stunning. Looks like a Sport Fury...but it's not. I have owned the card for about 8 years now and have enjoyed it and taken good care of it. I'm ready to pass it on to the next B-body enthusiast to take it to the next level of preservation. I purchased the car from a MOPAR guy but sorry I don't have any details on the history.
This Furygets amazing attention when ever it's on the road. It's very wellwell cared for, nd has always been garanged and lightly driven with just over 100K miles.Itruns amazing...smooth, traight, o rattles, r loose feeling. It's tight and drives unlike any car over 50 years old. It has factorypower steering and brakes. The engine is in great condition and does not leak any oil or other fluids. The coolant is clean and green. The power steering hoses have been changed and the brakes were redone about 4 years ago. It has newbrakes lines and a master cylinder.
This Fury also has factory Airtemp A/C that blows cold and is completely unmolested and intact.
The car does have some damage to rear left fender near the tail lamp, nd rust in the rear fender wells. There is no rust on the doors, oof panels, ront fenders. The floor board and trunk pans have minimal surface rust that has been treated and is no longer active.
The interior is all original, wo tone copper and dark brown. The vinyl is in excellent condition, o tears on the dashboard, oor panels, r seats. The front driver's seat does need to be redone. The original radio is intact and works, ut the antennae has been removed to allow for the car cover to be installed. All lights, orn, indshield wipers, ll work fine. The car is registered up to date with a current safety check.
There have been some minor "Mopar" additions for aesthetics
1968 side marker lamps
1969 style fender turn signal indicators
Parking lights have been wired to remain on with the headlights
1964 "Commando V8" insignia. The car does not have the Commando option, ut I liked the looks of it. For some unknown reason Chrysler did put V-8 chrome on the 1962-64 B-body cars, ut did so in 1965 when they became the company's mid-size offering. I just like the V-8 announcement.
This is an awesome Fury. The car still looks good today, ndcan run with any moderncar. It's looks are classic, timeless, and it drives super smooth and tight.
