Description

1936 Plymouth P2 4 door sedan. This is an Old Hot Rod. kind of a resto rod. Pretty much all original with a Ford 302 v8 auto trans and Ford rear axle. This Rod is a 4 door, with the popular rear suicide doors. We are always looking for a cool car for our customers to finish to their taste. This car was built years ago, and never finished. You could drive this as a rat rod as is. But it is too nice for that.
Mechanically, it is way cool!. Has a Ford 302 V8 with an automatic transmission with a tilt steering. The motor runs super!. Starts right up, good oil pressure, and the tranny shifts solid. The fuel system has been gone through, including rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, cleaned gas tank, etc. The brakes have all just been gone through with new brake shoes, rebuilt wheel cylinders, front brake drums were turned, and new master cylinder installed. Has new rear tires, and good front tires mounted on nostalgia style mag wheels. Lights work,The rest of the wiring needs finished. and car is a yard driver. Would not take much to finish this car. Odometer shows 88,085. We do not guarantee as actual miles.
The car is 95 percent complete. It is just missing the chrome on the hood side panels, missing a rear door handle, and maybe a few other small pieces.
The body is nice and clean, with very minor rust. There are a few spots of pin hole rust, Very Minor, inside the bottom edge of the trunk lid. The passengers rear floor pan is starting to rust through in a few places. The front floor pans were replaced, amateur job. Trunk floor is good. The doors open and close fine, as well as the hood.
Has a really nice grille, good straight fenders, trunk lid, etc. Rear glass is new with a new rubber. The rest of the glass is there, but is either smoked along edges or cracked. The glass is all flat, so easy to get. Has been primed a flat tan, and fenders are black. Straight bumpers.
It will need a complete interior. There are a set of nice front bucket seats, silver velour, and rear seat out of a later model vehicle. Do not know what vehicle they came out of, but are in good shape. Has a nice speedometer in dash. Missing original clock, and radio. Most of the dash stuff is not hooked up. Will need some muffler work.
If you are looking for a car that will not take much to get her back driving on the road, this is the car for you.
