Description

1969 Plymouth Road Runner Lynch Road plant build - NOT a clone. This is a very nice example, runs and stops well, real eye catcher.
Features:
  • 440 engine (not numbers matching) with Air Grabber
  • Automatic transmission, column shift
  • 3.91:1 rear gear with a clutch type Sure-Grip in a 8-3/4 489 case
  • Body and paint are excellent
  • Black vinyl top in excellent condition
  • Excellent black interior with bench seat
  • Power steering
  • Power Brakes (front discs, rear drums)
  • New 3.91 Ring & Pinion with all new carrier & front/rear pinion bearings
  • New Dr. Diff High Strength Axles & Axle Bearings
  • New Redline tires (G70-15 bias ply)
  • New 15x6 Torque Thrust D wheels, caps & lug nuts
  • New fender mount turn signal indicators
  • Edelbrock 800 AVS installed on a low profile aluminum intake manifold (painted engine color)
  • New Edelbrock fuel pump & fuel lines.
  • New rear tail pipes and mufflers
  • New sun visor rubbers
  • New dome light lens

Issues:

  • Radio does not work; I installed a under dash vintage restored Pioneer KP-500 stereo & new rear speakers.
  • Dash pad has a crack (not a huge crack but it's cracked nonetheless)
  • Instrument panel lights do not work some of time. I have a new circuit board (the new circuit board has a built in electronic voltage regulator, this solves the common Mopar plug in analog voltage regulator problems), new lamp holders and new lamps for it, if it needs it - probably not, probably just needs lamps replaced but I got the parts just in case. I just don't have the time to deal with it.

This is a good honest example of a Road Runner and it turns heads wherever I take it. It's not perfect but it's a really nice Road Runner; see pics.
