Description

1974 Gran Fury 2 Door Hardtop. 400 BB with Torqueflite automatic. Fairly rare because most were 4 doors.
Two owners prior to me. First ownerbought itnew in Lewiston, Idaho and put 50,000 miles on it, second owner bought in late 1990's and put about 18,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2014 and have driven it about 2,900 miles. Currently has 70,941 miles.
Painted 1977 Chrysler Black Starfire Metallic in 2015. (Not show quality, but very good driver quality.) I had all of the parking lot dings removed. The top is the original dark green vinyl in good condition. The seats & package tray were upholstered in black and green (car was originally all green inside including the carpet).and new black carpet, head linerinstalled in 2015. Windshield & rearwindow were removed and resealed because these cars don't use a rubber seal, they just had a butyl caulk on these windows, they weren't leaking, but I didn't trust the old caulk. The bumper chrome is getting thin, but isn't worn through, has no rust, but to make it a show car the bumperswould need rechromed.
Replaced the valve cover, pan & transmission gaskets. Installed new factory style plug wires, spark plugs cap & rotor. All fluids were changed including the brake fluid. New belts & hoses.New shocks, new tires, newdual low back pressure exhaust from themanifolds back . (Car has no catalyticconverters or smog pump, never had them, but valves seats are factoryhardened for unleaded gas.) Has a new set of electric oil, volt & temp gauges.
Steering is completely rebuilt. All new tie rod ends, ball joints drag link, and idle link. Replaced the steering gear, PS pump and all PS hoses. Also has new control arm & anti-sway bar bushings.
AC is converted to 134a refrigerant.
Car is metallic black with dark green top &narrow dark green bump molding on the side. It's lowered 3" in front 2" in rear. Draws a lot of attention. Great for cruising and local shows.
I've got over $16,000 in the car. It could be a year around driver, but I choose to store it in the winter, so I need to sell it because I've lost my storage.
The car is reliable and ready to drive anywhere. It might need some minor things I'm forgetting about, so be sure and ask questions. A completelist is available, via e-mailto bidders, of the things that have been done to the car.
The reserve is low, so bid to win.
