Description

1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda 383, 4 Speed. (512 cu in Indy head, low deck (400) stroker with a Keisler 5-speed Tremec manual transmission and a 4:10 Dana rear). Rotisserie restored, 2007 Mopar’s at the Strip show class 1st place winner and Best of Show winner. February 2009 Mopar Muscle Magazine feature car.

I have the complete numbers matching drivetrain, (Engine, transmission and rear) original fender tag, original dash VIN tag are on the car. Core Support/Cowl body numbers are correct and in place. The car was originally a 383 HP engine with 4 speed manual transmission and 8.75, 3:22 sure grip.

Complete rotisserie restoration was completed in January 2007. The interior seats, door panels, console and seat belts are original with the headliner, carpet and dash pad being replaced and Dynamat Sound Deadener added. Other items in the interior like the dash frame, trim switches and gauges have all been restored, including the clock. The power plant is now a 512 cu in Indy head, low deck (400) stroker with a Keisler 5-speed Tremec manual transmission and a 4:10 Dana rear. A full TTI 3” exhaust from headers to tips and it is all ceramic coated and polished.

1970 factory original elastomeric front & rear bumpers, rear Go Wing, front chin spoilers, Factory rear louvers, upgraded 4 wheel power disc brakes, flat black hockey stick stripe, black vinyl top. This is a Rust Free Arizona/Colorado car, all sheet metal is original, even the trunk! Everything on this car has been either replaced or restored, and I mean everything, nothing was untouched during the restoration. The car has brand new wiring harnesses and an upgraded electrical system. Everything on the car works; horn, lights, wipers, heater, radio, gauges, fog lamps, including the tach and clock (upgraded to quartz movement) etc.

The Shaker Hood was added to the car early on sometime in the 70’s, so all of the Shaker parts are original parts. The trunk is correctly detailed with space saver spare and inflator bottle. (I have the jack assembly but don’t keep it in the car)

The entire suspension has been redone and lowered for a better stance and ride. All parts are either powder coated, plated or painted. The entire undercarriage is also painted and highly detailed, as you would expect with a vehicle of this caliber!

The wheels are 18” Coy’s C-5’s with BFG KDW II tires. I also have new 15” rallyes with new BF Goodrich T/A Radials and restored original centers.

The car has been driven almost 5,000 miles since 2007, but only has had the 512 stroker in for approximately 1,500 miles. The paint is beautiful and the car stills pulls down Best of Show awards every year. The car runs and drives as it should and can be taken anywhere you desire. The 5 speed is amazingly smooth and cruises at 70 mph ~ 2300 RPM - with 4:10 gears!

This is a collector quality, proven show winner, magazine feature car with documentation, resto pictures, receipts and legit clear title in hand. No issues or hidden problems. The car is located in Colorado. If you are a serious buyer, I will be glad to talk to you about the car and answer any questions, (719) 499-5380, I don’t have time for tire kickers. I have owned this car since 1998. The numbers matching 383 engine, 4 speed transmission, 8.75 rear end, and every other original piece I have for the car is available and can be negotiated into the purchase price. (If wanted).
