Description

1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with 75. 91 original miles; one owner since new; factory-original paint and interior. Always garaged. never wrecked. zero rust anywhere. Superb black/black color combination. original numbers-matching engine. original warranty booklet and Monroney window sticker. Special ordered new by a returning Vietnam Veteran in 1969. He took delivery in Michigan upon his arrival back in the United States. and drove it home to the East San Francisco Bay Area. California. He worked the next four decades as journeyman auto technician. and this Roadrunner was his prized possession. He accumulated boxes and boxes of extra parts. including extra rear ends and an extra original tri-power 440 magnum (everything is included). I received multiple emails saying the engine should be orange. and other emails saying it is correctly blue. My understanding is that the engines came both blue and orange (mostly orange). Because this is a one-owner car. and because the owner was a technician by trade. I doubt he changed the color of the engine (from orange to blue). The engine is stamped with the VIN of the car. so it is obviously the original. I looked up "badass" in the dictionary and found a picture of this same black/black 1969 Roadrunner.
