These early 'Cudas are rarely seen today and the convertibles are really rare. with only 4. 28 produced in '67. And who knows how many are left in driveable condition? This one is an interesting combination of originality and upgrades. The body. including the floors & trunk is original and in good condition with only one small spot of rust bubbles that I can find. The interior appears to be original and the original Chrysler Certicard is still in place under the hood. But all the important mechanicals have been vastly improved upon. while remaining all Mopar. Starting with the 5 lug Cragar mag wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A P2056R1590S's on the front and P27560R15107S's on the back bolted to larger than stock drum brakes in the rear and disc brakes in front. She handles & stops much better than any stock 'Cuda from this era. In the engine bay we've got the real treat. a 1970 440 V-8. bored . 040 over and built with all the best components like; Edelbrock aluminum Performer RPM heads. fully balanced & lightened 6 pack crank. 6 pack rods. reworked. lightened & balanced. TRW forged pistons. balanced. with performance rings. Comp cam & lifters. Edelbrock Performer timing chain & gears. intake & carb. Crane roller rockers. high volume oil pump. Milodon oil pan. Accel HP distributor & coil. high torque mini starter. Schumacher chrome high flow tri-Y headers and Flowmaster Stage 4 mufflers w/2 1/2" aluminized pipes. Also under hood is a Griffin aluminum radiator with overflow tank and thermostatically controlled electric fan. This bad boy is hooked to a Chrysler 727 with shift kit and stall torque converter PPC. Rear end is a Plymouth Sure-Loc. She's also got a new power convertible top with glass back window and a recent driver quality paint job. This 'Cuda sounds incredible. runs like a scalded cat and stops on a dime! She'll smoke just about anything out there without breaking a sweat.
