1966 Plymouth Belvedere I 4 speed All new mechanicals!!
I have for a sale a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere I that is originally from Colorado. It was originally a 318 automatic car.
I brought this car to Ohio in 2013. It does need lower quarter panel patches. But the rest of the car is pretty solid. Car is all steel and is not cut up.The only thing missing is the back seat. The horn, and wipers work but it needs a heater core. I do have all of the Belvedere I trim and emblems and they are included.
It has a 383 with stock crank and rods with forged TRW pistons. It has 440 Source Stealth aluminum heads with PRW aluminum 1.6 ratio full roller rocker arms. Also the Big Mutha Thumpr cam. 750 Holley double pumper on a polished edelbrock torker 2 intake. Runs great on pump gas. I have run a best of 12.75 at 108 MPH that was on a 92 degree day, nd it can be driven anywhere!
Exhuast consists of TTI 2 inch primary ceramicoated and thermal barrier headers into a 3 inch custom built X pipe with 3 inch welded mufflers and turn downs in front of the rear end.
The entire front and rear suspension was rebuilt in 2013 and the front suspension and K-frame were blasted and powder coated black. It has Comp Eng. adjustable shocks on the front and QA1 single adjustable on the back along with new super stock A body springs.
The rear end is an A body 8 3/4 back braced with 4:10 gears in a 742 large yoke center section. It also has an aluminum driveshaft. Lakewood bell housing and Mcleod Street clutch.
The transmission is an A-833 23 spline from a 1969 Road Runner. With a Hurst competition plus shifter and it shifts very nice. The transmission was also gone through in 2013.
All brake lines wheel cylinders and master cylinder new in 2013. It has Drum brakes all around.Fuel tank 3/8 line and pickup and fuel pump all new in 2013. Fuel pump is a billet Holley hp125 electric. It is wired with a relay and toggle switch. The battery is trunk mounted.
Has aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
Convo pro wheels all around with 15x4 on front and 15x7 on rear with 255 60 15 M/T ET Street radials.
It is a fun street strip car that is reliable and easy to drive. I just have to many other long term projects to keep this one around.
I am also willing to sell the car as a roller minus the wheels tires and drive line for $6250.00.
I believe this is a fair price for a Big block 4 speed post car.
I have many pics of the car top and bottom. If you have any questions please contact me.
Thanks, ryan
