ALTHOUGH I MAY RELIST THIS CAR IN THE FUTURE IF IT DOESN'T SELL, HE PRICE WILL NEVER BE 1 PENNY LESS THAN IT IS TODAY. THE BUY IT NOW PRICE IS ALMOST HALF OF WHAT I HAVE PUT INTO THIS CAR. SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, HIS DEAL WILL NEVER BE ANY BETTER.

DRIVETRAIN: THE ORIGINAL SIX CYLINDER MOTOR HAD A ROD KNOCK SO I REPLACED IT WITH THE DRIVETRAIN OUT OF A 1975 CHRYSLER CORDOBA. 400 BIG BLOCK MOTOR AND 727 TORQUE FLITE 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. BOTH WITH ABOUT 80K ON THEM. I ALSO REPLACED THE REAR AXLE WITH A MOPAR 8 3/4 OUT OF A 71 CHALLENGER WITH NEW 323 GEARS AND A NEW POSITRACTION UNIT. I PUT ON ALL NEW BRAKE HARDWARE, EALS, TC. FRONT BRAKES ARE NOW POWER DISC WITH A DUAL RESERVOIR MASTER CYLINDER AND ADJUSTABLE PROPORTIONING VALVE. I GRAVITY BLED THE BRAKES, UT THEY COULD USE A POWER BLEED. I ALSO PUT ON REAR LEAF SPRING HELPERS TO GIVE THE CAR A BIT OF A RAKE. HIGH EFFICIENCY 4 ROW RADIATOR AND NEW HEATER CORE AND HEATER VALVE. ADJUSTABLE THERMOSTATIC ELECTRIC FAN, LUMINUM FLEX FAN. TOTAL HIGH PERFORMANCE INGNITION SYSTEM INCLUDING A MOPAR PERFORMANCE ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTOR, HORTY HEADERS WITH JET HOT COATING. DUAL EXHAUST WITH CROSSOVER PIPE AND TURBO MUFFLERS. 4BBL HOLLEY CARB 830 CFM WITH ELECTRIC CHOKE AND VACUUM SECONDARIES, EADY FOR PERFORMANCE HEADS AND INTAKE.

THE BODY IS PRETTY STRAIGHT WITH ONLY SMALL DINGS, HE INTERIOR NEEDS THE DOOR PANELS FINISHED. I HAVE ALL THE MATERIALS AND IT MATCHES THE SEATS INCLUDING THE ARMRESTS WHICH ARE IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO CRACKS OR WARPING. THE SEATS WERE REDONE FROM THE FRAME UP LAST YEARWITH ALL NEW MATERIAL. THE INTERIOR IS COMPLETE IN THE TRUNK WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SILL PLATES, LL IS INCLUDED.

MINOR RUST: THE FLOOR BOARDS HAVE BEEN PATCHED AND SEALED. THE ROCKERS NEED REPLACED AND THERE IS RUST AROUND THE DRIVERS HEADLIGHT ONLY VISIBLE WHEN THE HOOD IS POPPED.AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, HAT IS IT.

MECHANICALLY THE FRONT TRANNY SEAL LEAKS ABOUT HALF A QUART A MONTH AND THE GAS SENDING UNIT DRIPS IF THE TANK IS FILLED TO THE TOP. THE GUAGE DOES WORK. I PLANNED TO UPGRADE TO THE 24 GALLON TANK I HAVE SEEN ON EBAY.

THIS CAR HAS A LOT OF NOS (NEW OLD STOCK) PARTS THAT I PAID A PREMIUM FOR INCLUDING THE GRILL, HE FENDER SPEARS, HE FENDER MIRRORS, RESH INTAKE VENT AND LOCKING GLOVE BOX LATCH, LL IN MINT CONDITION. I PUT IN A NEW GLOVE BOX, ALSO PUT IN A SPEEDO CLUSTER OUT OF A FURY WITH THE 150 MPH SPEEDOMETER AND HAD A NEW CABLE MADE BUT THE SPEEDO DIDN'T WORK. IM NOT SURE WHY. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL, O BETWEEN THE TWO I’M SURE IT CAN BE FIXED.THE GAS AND TEMP GUAGE DO WORK, UT I DIDN'T HOOK UP THE AMP GUAGE. I ALSO REPLACED THE SINGLE SPEED WIPER MOTOR AND SWITCH WITH THE VARIABLE SPEED WIPER MOTOR AND SWITCH AND NEW WIPER ARMS AND SPINDLES. ALL LIGHTS WORK. I HAVE NEVER PUT POWER TO THE RADIO.

I PUT IN NEW HEAT SHIELD, OLD AND MILDEW RESISTANT, OUND DAMPENING CARPET PADDING FROM THE FRONT ALL THE WAY TO THE REAR DECK. ALSO NEW CARPET AND INSTALLED FLOOR SEATBELT BRACKETS. I STARTED LINING THE WINDOW TRACKS WITH THE FELT AND METAL CORE TRIM BUT DIDNT FINISH ONE WINDOW. THE REST IS IN THE TRUNK ALONG WITH TRANNY COOLING LINES TO REPLACE THE EXISTING ONES THAT HAVE SECTIONS OF RUBBER HOSE.THE DRIVER'S DOOR WINDOW IS NO LONGER CRACKED, T HAS BEEN REPLACED AND WORKS GREAT!

THE CAR ALSO HAS AONE YEAR OLDSET OF HANCOOK TIRES WITH ALL THE TREAD STILL LEFTAND A COMPLETELEY REBUILT FRONT END KIT WHICH IS INSTALLED INCLUDING ALL NEW SHOCKS, IE ROD ENDS AND CENTERLINK. THE ORIGINAL 1958 LICENSE PLATE IS IN THE TRUNK. THIS CAR IS FAST AND A LOT OF FUN TO DRIVE, SPECIALLY NOW WITH THE POWER DISC BRAKES. IF I HAD THE 24 GALLON GAS TANK, WOULD BE 100% COMFORTABLE TO DRIVE THIS CAR CROSS COUNTRY RIGHT NOW.

I WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING LIST OF PARTS ALONG WITH WHAT I HAVE ALREADY MENTIONED, ARPET AND PADDING FOR THE TRUNK, INDOW FELT TRACKS TO FINISH THE LAST WINDOW, HE ORIGINAL SPEEDO CLUSTER TO FIX THE SPEEDOMETER, HAT ALSO HAS AN EXTRA GAS, MP AND TEMP GUAGE IN IT,NEW 3 POINT FRONT SEATBELTS.
