Up for sale we have a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. This was the second year for the Road Runner. It only had small changes to the tail lights and grill, ut it was the first year for the bucket seats and console. The one we have for you is a rare 9x Black that has the original Paint and Interior. We have the build sheet and trim tag. This car spent its whole life in North Carolina and is a rare find. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd driveline of the Plymouth, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of the Road Runner. When you look at this car and walk around it you will find it hard to believe that most of the paint is factory. When you look down the sides it has good lines with good gaps. The panels all look straight and this car retains the factory glass and stainless. The chrome looks and is also factory and shows some age as expected. When you look at the paint you are sure to be impressed with it being 46 years old. It looks great with some touch up work done over the years. You will see in the door jams and the trunk it looks good. Over the year someone added a gold pinstripe that looks good against the black. The final exterior touch is the set of 15” Magnum 500 wheels with White Letter Tires.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the ’69. On the inside this car also features the factory interior. However, ou can’t tell by look at tit. The seats, arpet, nd door panels look great. It has the factory Bucket Seats, onsole, nd Shifter. The console has the wood grain trim and when you look at the dash it has the factory tach that works. This ride has cold AC and also has the factory AM FM Radio.
Finally, e will take a look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it’s a 383 V8 that’s mated to a TorqueFlite 727 Trans. Then engine was changed at some point to the ’71 model 383. The rear end is a 8 ¾” with a 323 gear. As we said this is a factory AC car that works. Also it has Power Steering and Standard Brakes. When you look at the engine it’s painted as it would have been in ’69 with the correct Breather and Valve Covers. When you put this car on a rack and look at the floors you will like what you see. Everything is solid with no visible signs of any damage.
This is a car you can get it and drive. It’s a pleasure to drive and is car that we don’t know of needing anything.
