This auction is for a 1970 Plymouth Satellite that has been cloned to a Road Runner and a complete Superbird clone kit. This car has original and perfect floor and trunk pans and frame rails. It has been a Southern California car it's entire life. It has a 1969 E440 and 727 out of a 1969 Chrysler 300. New gas tank, /8" fuel lines and a fuel pump with vapor separator and 1/4" return line and Edelbrock 750 carb. I have original 1969 untouched carb and intake. New alternator, ew Mopar electronic distributor and wires. New 2 1/2 " exhaust with 1969 date code high performance manifolds. It has an 8 3/4 rear end with a 489 case, ew HD drive shaft with heavy duty U-joints and super stock springs. New tires. Comes with rear leaf spring inboard relocator kit. It runs and drives decent but the motor and trans have a lot of miles and will need to be rebuilt. Seats need to be recovered and there is no carpet. Is currently licensed and registered in California.
The Winged Warriors/Ted Janak kit (www.wingedwarriors.com) is complete with back window and is NOT the economy line kit now produced. Kit originally cost $7200 (without front fenders and hood). I have the impossible-to-find original 1970 Coronet metal front fenders and hood that are in excellent shape that you will need to build the Superbird just like the factory did it. The hard to find stainless steel window trim for the rear and every single piece to build a Superbird clone is here. Comes with complete Road Runner dash also.
The body has 1 repaint in the early 90's. The only rust on the car is 2 small surface rust spots around the bottom of the rear window trim.
All the hard work of getting everything together is done. The Ted Janak kit is the top of the line and is by far the best Superbird clone kit out there. The pro-touring Superbird picture is what I had planned. Will sell kit without car, ut not car without kit. Buyer responsible for shipping or can be picked up. Please email any questions. Thanks.
