I purchased this Fiero about a month ago off eBay with the intent of using it as the basis for a Lemons race car. But, ith a third kid now on the way, t just ain't gonna happen. So before I get attached to it, decided to re-list it and let it go to another new home. Below is the original eBay listing from when I bought it:
"Vehicle is For parts, otor cranks but will not start. No body damage but the underside of the trunk has been crushed in and banged out. Very little rust as it was always stored, ill need new tires, ims are great. Spare and car jack are included, ent plates are in great condition"
There's not much info there, ut it's essentially accurate, lthough I would say the car is better than just a parts car. With fairly straightforward work it could be brought back to life as a street car or track day car or Lemons race car, f course. I was told by the seller that the motor gets fuel and has spark, o I assume something with the computer is to blame. Importantly, he car has a clear, igned over title in the prior owner's name, o it could be used on the road again. Also, t has new stainless brake lines. Tires are Michelins; they have good tread but some dry cracking and the rear driver's side tire will leak down after a few days. Interior is partially disassembled. Glass is all in very good shape, ncluding the sunroof. Seats are good, xcept for a tear on driver's left bolster. Body is in good shape for its age, ith no visible rust through. There is a dent on the passenger side near the belt line. Original spare is still in place and the car rides on the factory Fiero SE 14" alloy wheels. I would guess the mileage indicated (111k) is original; the car clearly saw little to no winter driving judging by the minimal amount of rust. See photos.
The auction includes all the parts I got with the car when I bought it, ncluding a 3.4 liter narrow angle V6 engine and associated computer, lywheel, alve covers, ntake and injection. This is supposedly a bolt in engine to the 2.5 liter's bell housing. No battery is included. The car is currently stuck in gear, ut can be moved around with the clutch depressed.
Terms and conditions:The car is sold on a clean, igned over title from the prior owner. No warrant is expressed or implied; the car currently does not run/drive. Your bid is a commitment to buy, ot an option to buy, o please ask any and all questions in advance. I cannot ship or transport the car, ut will make myself available to meet you and/or your shipper. The car can be viewed by appointment in the Brewster, Y area. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time and for any reason.
Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Good luck!
