The car was originally owned from 1967 to 1983. All lineage paper work has been retained. It was brought to Canada in 1984 and underwent a mild restoration cosmetically, hich included; stripping the body and new DuPont paint applied (pin stripe delete), ew GM emblems, ew headlights, ew weather strips, ew 60/20 twisted loop original GM carpet, ew GM outside mirror, lass out and resealed, ew grille surrounds, urn signal lenses, ezels, e chromed under dash vent pulls, ew original G.M. antenna (oval tipped). Recent improvements were interior front seats (total restoration from Legendary, remium grade foam and covers), oof liner and mesh package tray. New B.F. Goodrich tires and rally 2 rims.
The car was kept in a heated, ry, ecure storage with regular fluid changes and stabilizer. Limited mileage was put on the car since 1983. Since that time the car was driven more frequently till now. Present mileage of 92,145.
The car is equipped with the 400 cid/335 hp 4-bbl California-type motor, st1>Muncie 4 speed manual transmission (update with new clutch, ressure plate, hrust bearing etc.). Hurst competition floor – mounted shifter with console, .55 limited slip 10 bolt Pontiac differential (tagged), ew HD U-joints, M boxed lower control arms and rear sway, actory rear suspension reinforcement brackets. PS, B (drums), ual exhaust, riginal Harrison 4-core radiator (flushed and rodded), ally gauges with in dash tachometer, ood grained rally steering wheel. Both original wheel covers and rally 2 rims are included.
The 400 runs smooth and has never been exposed to winter starts since coming to Canada. Improvements were as follows; new TRW motor mounts, ew GM fuel pump, OS ’67 water pump, ew GM radiator hoses, ew quality Hamburger double roller timing kit, rofessionally rebuilt Q-Jet 4-bbl by Cliff’s (rare California standard), ew fuel line from carburetor to pump, ew rear coil springs, ew under hood pad, an declutch on original 7-blade fan and a new GM HD battery, ew brake shoes, heel cylinders and axle seals. The motor still maintains the original bolt hardware throughout. The only non original parts are the hose clamps and filters. The A.I.R. clamps are original. The motor has never been apart or out of the car.
Overall condition of the car would be comparable to a 4 or 5 year old car that has been meticulously maintained by an owner with pride and respect for the heritage of the car.
