1955 Pontiac Starchief
This is one of the most highly optioned 1955 cars I have ever seen! The car is equipped with:

- · Power brakes
- · Power antenna
- · Power windows (still work)
- · Radio / clock
- · Spotlight with rear view mirror
- · Sun visor and door visors
- · Light for under the hood and trunk
- · 287 V-8 with 4 barrel carburetor
- · Automatic transmission
- · ETC
Rare all black – paint code 0
Lighted Indian on the hood ornament is so cool and in great shape!
This car sat in a barn in Iowa for over 40 years. It was pulled out, given a horrible paint job, got running and had mag wheels put on and then left to sit in the barn again. The odometer says 35k miles, and considering the lack of rust and being from the mid-west, I think it is original. The mechanicals all look extremely original. Car will start up and yard drive, but will need the gas tank flushed, carb rebuilt and a freeze plug replaced. Please note – freeze plug is leaking pretty bad, so will need to be repaired before driving on the road. It can be started and driven onto a trailer.
The seats are rough, door panels are fair and headliner is still good. Body is very solid – front of the front fenders need work. Floors and trunk pan are solid.
Car comes with the original hub caps and chrome fender skirts.
This is a great car to restore, or ( I hate to say it) use for parts for a 2 door or convertible.
Please email me any questions – thanks for looking!
