1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible 400 crate motor, 2 year restoration. California car, rust free, accident free, looks and drives great. |
This Firebird started its life as a 400 convertible and was built in Van Huys California, It then made its way up to the Central Coast, where it has remainedup to this day.
The restoration was done in Arizona, the car was stripped and the process was started. The restoration took roughly 2 years and it was well worth the wait. The car has done roughly 6k miles since total restoration.
The engine is a crate motor, transmission was rebuilt, power steering, power brakes, A/C and everything else mechanical was either replaced, or rebuilt. The hood was replaced with the rev counter version.
This Pontiac looks and drives great. Its an older restoration that has held up very well and would still get many compliments, and a prize or 2 at any car show. Its just had new tires fitted from Croker, also new convertible shocks and hydraulic lines have been replaced.
