Hi, you are bidding on a very solid trans am. Unfortunately this car has sat for quite a few years so upon purchasing the car we had to go thru the fuel system and brakes, we installed a new battery, and tires and the car is a great running driving project!
Now about the car the drivetrain was nearly new when parked, approx. 500 miles on the motor-trans-rear end it is a 383 stroker with dart iron eagle heads, knock off bow tie intake, roller rockers, Lakewood blow-bell with ram clutch, 4 wheel disc brakes southside lift bars, 4.10 posi. with aftermarket axles, aluminum radiator, all MSD ignition...
The car runs pretty good... the 1/4's are beautiful the doors are pretty nice, I tried to get some pics, and the floors are very nice with the exception of a small hole starting right below the brake pedal. It is just a blister, the decklid will need replaced as it is soft on the bottom side, the trunk floor has a small spot right on top of the RH frame rail 1/2 wide by 3 inches long the rest of the trunk is beautiful and has nice paint still in place. Also the rear plate (?) or that gets bad on these cars has a couple spots as seen in the pic.
All in all its a GREAT running driving project that can be enjoyed while restoring, also I believe this was originally a dark brown metallic car with a 4r.9 turbo and auto? the trim tag on the cowl is missing? Car can possibly be delivered up to 500 miles, any questions pleased call Greg at 734-796-3473, I don't check the email as often as I should.
