Up for sale is my 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix which we purchased from the original owner in 2016. The car was originally sold in Glenwood Iowa to George Weber from whom we purchased the vehicle from. It is an unrestored original example and with the exception of a repaint in the original Turqoise done 15 years ago, otherwise it is completely untouched. Mileage shows 67k and based on vehicle condition I believe this to be original mileage.Interior is in excellent shape and is all original.Motor is original and untouched and the car is numbers matching.AC is not hooked up but is all there. We did install a new starter and batteryand redid brake lines so the vehicleruns and drives fine and has been serviced.
Glass and Chrome is all in excellent shape. Body gaps are good. The repaintis par and I would classify as 'Driver Quality' and does have some blemishes (crack in the paint just behind the drivers door). There is a small spot of rust on right side rear wheel well about the size of a quarter and some surface rust only onbottom edges of the doors. Trunk and floors are solid. No rust around any of the window trim. (see pics)One crack in the dash pad and a small hole in the headliner on the driver side (mice) otherwise the interior is near perfect. This is not a show car and would need a repaint, mechanical/engine bayfreshened up to bea show quality car but this is the perfect one to do a full restoration on or just a nice driver. Documentation includes original Broadcast sheet, Original Title, owners manual and warranty book. *****There is also another build sheet still in the car in the drivers seat! It was not removed bc it is in the springs and I didn't want to damage it.
Overall car is in good condition based on its originality and would be a good driver. I would consider this a parade car but not show quality. Needs some work to be a 10 show condition and I have it priced accordingly and priced to sell.
Vehicle is listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. Cash or wire transfer only. Shipping responsibility of buyer. I encourage any inspections.
