Description

i got this 87 gen 3 trans am in an storage sale. ive had it sence 2012. just been picking up parts all the time local but most right here on ebay. i work almost all the time and have just way to many projects now so out this one goes . its from VA. . i have the auto check in my hands from when i got the car but i can't seem to go back no further than 1994 and it stayed in same owners hands from midlothian virginia till it was sold in ohio in 2005 at 160. 00 miles it changed hands 3 times till i got it in 2012. the guy who had it went to prison i think because he lost it over drugs and jail and couldnt get it out. i was at the same storage unit and still am . anyhow the guy was parting it out(wonder why. ight)i watched as he took parts off of it . tried to buy it then but he refused said he could make more by parting it out. so i got it after he went bye bye. took from august when i won it till dec. 2012 to get the title from the state(yea they are slow like that) after i got it i got hit and they stole the flowmaster exhaust off of it. i ordered a new exhaust as you can see in the pictures had it rekeyed and had buy new door looks also then. towed it to my apt. where after me getting someone to drop the tank so i could replace the fuel pump. he destroyed my fuel cell. so had to get all that replaced. tank. sending unit(stainless steel)and high pressure hose. you see in pictures i dont have that in yet neither. took over a year just to get the left headlight bucket(2 wire)(most are 3 wire)got all plastic parts now but the pass side front brake scope vent on the fender and the spoiler also is still missing. needs inside door panels both sides. but she is a very rust free no bondo job anywhere here. great project car. a gen 3 is the most looked for as they were the best because the next model and forward they are made of plastic everything. this is the last all metal trans am model made. every hose clamp is stainless also this thing has still got silver and gold bolts on the underside ive been told. im 59 and i love it but it hurts to get in and out with a busted pelvis. all inside plastic parts are here and in perfect shape no cracks. foam is great but the fabric needs redone. i just got way to many other projects plus work to deal with this anymore. and sence i cant get in and out of it . it gotta go!!!! this is what everyone looks for in a project car. NO FREEKIN RUST. AND NO CRASH VICTIM. just bolt it together and paint it and it will be worth oh my. around 13 grand or so. i got a pathfinder thats drinking me dry thats old school flame painted plus 2 motorcycles that are being customed out. here is a nice toy take it or not is up to you. thanks. ill post another pix of all the parts thats are not on the car but are in a storage unit a. s. a. p a guy got under it and told me i have 4 wheel disk brakes with an auburn 7. 5 10 bolt posi rear end . thanks. okay now it cost me $22 bucks plus change just to list this car. and they are gonna hit me hard if it sells. if for some reason you got this idea i will lower the price next listing wow are you ever wrong ive worked on cars and bikes my whole life. i know a good car when i see one. this is one or i would have never picked it up at all. but i have other projects on my hands and i would love to see someone have a nice project car. BUT if it go even at min. bid thats fine also . good for the winner . you better think because this car is listed worldwide not just in the united states. ive shipped cars before so i know how to work with the buyer from abroad. they will get there car. there is another thing to think about. there are farm and ranch guys and girls out there that can just as easy tell there dad. im gonna sell a steer to buy this hot rod dad. he won't care about one steer okay. get the idea. i need a bid now. i talked to a friend about this car. he says i should use my 4 slip in camper jacks and pick it up enough to drop the unipans front and rear pull the steering wheel and all wiring out and keep that and he said i could get maybe close to 2 grand outta body parts on the junk yard hot list nationwide . wow . you really gonna make me cut up this car i can not get into anymore because of a busted pelvis. i guess i could put all that 4 wheel disk brake posi rear end stuff into something like a pick up. bid because im not gonna drop the price at all. i really can't believe it isn't gone already just from a firebird club somewhere yet. this isnt much money really. but it is taking up space. out it goes in one piece or alot of them. chow. times a ticking
