Description

Original blue plate inland Southern California Car. It is in “get in and go” condition.

1970 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J in very good condition. It has a standard bore Pontiac 400 a turbo-hydra-matic 400 PS PB rally I wheels. It is an AC car that will need the AC service (R-12 set-up factory). It runs good shifts good. Quadra-jet and lower compression 6X heads were put on the engine.

It comes with a nice black dash a good fan shroud (these are made of unobtainium) nice front blinker lights and better taillights and an AM radio (1970). I also have the rear window trim that I removed from another car.

This car is not perfect but it is nice and a very nice example. The trunk pan has been replaced they did an OK job it’s not concourse. The vinyl top install seems a little short in the front. The interior is in good condition. A small patch of paint is delaminating on the right rear end panel. The rest seems fine. The previous owner painted the car “Snap-On tool box blue”. I bought the car from the original owner’s son and can pass along some historical info and some manuals etc. The driver’s interior door panel is not in good shape and the driver’s door key lock needs some work. There are also some nicer exterior door handles that will go with the car.

Unsure of mileage the odometer read 70000.

I’m selling this as is where is and the buyer will have to make the shipping arrangements. I have this for sale locally as well.

I expect $1000 payment through PayPal shortly after the final bid. The full amount paid before this thing leaves my house.

There are no secrets with this sale. I will be totally honest and have nothing to hide. I want the buyer to feel completely comfortable and happy with their purchase and this transaction they will be getting a great car.

This can be seen in person in Ontario CA. I have set a modest reserve and the car is worth far more than the reserve price.
