Let me start out by saying that this is a very good buddy of mines car who iamhelp sell.This is a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400that may haveonly been a year or so from out of therestoration shop.The car wascompletely restored from the front to the back and top to the bottom. The car was originally a Tropical Lime Poly with a Dark Green Corodova Top and Jade Green standard interior. The color combo on the car has been changed to the Titanium White (base coat clear coat) with Black-deluxe interior. A donor car was bought and shipped in so that all thesheet metal needed to make this car back toperfect would come straight from a real car and not a over seas reproduction replacement. The panels that where used out of the other car included; trunk pan deck lid toe panels firewall cowl both doors both rockers entire tail light panel radiator support and a couple other smallpatches. All sheet metal was replaced by a professional restoration shop as with all work done on the car.The body on the car is super straight and looks amazing. About the only things you can nock on the car are a few paint chips where the car has been driven and some paint cracking on the front nose of the car which ibelieve they didthatfrom the day they came off theassembly line. The cracks are small and you have to walk straight up onto before you notice them. The Motor in the car is the original 400 Block number 020301YS with 96 heads. The intake and exhaust manifolds are originals and correct and the carb is a 7041264 which is the factory correct 4 barrel. The motor has beencompletely rebuilt and i have a spec sheet that tells ofeverything that was done to the motor. The transmission in the car is the factory correct PX turbo 400. The rearend in the car is also factory original and a GYC code which is a Safe T- Track with 3.08 gears but therearend has been upgraded with a auburnpost unit and 3.55 gears.The suspension on the car just like the rest of the car has been completely gone through. All the bushings in the car are fromPerformance Suspension Technologies. All the fuel and brake lines that are under the car are new stainless withcolor coded clips (green and yellow). The interior of the car is all brand new deluxe interior for the car.The car has a new wiring harness from the front to the back. All the dash was redone back to factory using all new parts. The a/c in the car is all new. All trim and chrome are new or NOS forthe car. All gaskets and sealreplaced.The car isliterally brand new from front to back and you can tell that when your looking at the car. Their is just under 100K in rebuilding the car from front to back using tons of new parts a few NOS parts andwith buying the donor car.This istruly agreat carthat will make someone a nice car for their collection.The car rides and drives amazingly no reason for someone not to drive and have fun with. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken offeBay.The car is also sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the car to shipped.
