Description
For your consideration and offered for sale is my 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This car is finished in its original factory color combination of code R Matador Red over a Red interior with a White convertible top as it came originally from the factory. Possibly and in my opinion the most desirable color combination ever. This is a Real GTO as the vin number decodes as well as the Pontiac Historic Documentation proves. The car is powered by the 400 4 bbl YS code motor and the Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This GTO also has some of the most desirable options. Bucket Seats with center console and floor shifter Power Steering Power front disc /rear drum brakes AM/FM stereo Radio(needs speakers)Rally II wheels with correct PMD center caps and a power convertible top. This GTO retains all of it's rust free original sheet metal with no evidence of patch or repairs. The body on this car is very clean and arrow strait and appears to have never been in an accident. It has been a rust free salt free southern car all of its life and the undercarriage is clean with no previous repairs or patch work. This is an original unrestored car that has only had cosmetic and maintenence work done to it. The engine starts up easily and runs nicely with no smoke or funny noises. The turbo 400 transmission goes right into gear and shifts smoothly. The steering feels tight and the car drives very nicely down the road. The brakes stop quickly and smoothly without pulling. The radial raised white letter tires are only 6 months old and really make the car ride and handle very nice and tight. The car also has a new 4 row radiator and never overheats even down here in sunny south Florida. It is getting very hard to find original metal rust free GTO convertibles that haven't been all hacked up . All in all I believe this car could be driven anywhere. The NADA Old Car Price Guide shows the 1969 GTO Convertible with an Average price of $48825.00 and a High price of $75075.00. This car is an investment quality car andI have set the reserve at a fraction of that price so the new ownershould be getting an exceptional deal. I have a clean and clear Florida title in my name . The car is located in Hollywood Florida 7 miles south from the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale international Air Port and can be inspected anytime before the auctions end. Please call me with any questions anytime. Call Ian @ 773 551 5075. The car is being sold AS IS Where Is with no guarantee as all used cars are. No buyers with less than 5 positive feedbacks without prior approval. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thank You for looking and good luck to all.
