Lynda Tanner of Tuscaloosa Alabama took delivery of this car December 15 1969 at Stansell Pontiac – Cadillac Tuscaloosa Al. Notice the vanity mirror on the driver’s side (would be on passenger side requested by Lynda to be put on driver side).Notes from the Seller
I added and color matched the spoiler to dress the car up and try to separate it from a LeMans and in fact you could have had the dealer install one as a dealer option. The car is in my personal air conditioned museum and has only seen rain once since in my possession and still then not driven. I had it downtown at a car show and we had a passing shower - the rain was toweled off immediately. I have clay barred it 2 or 3 times and it gets waxed every year with Meguiars products. I have not personally inspected this vehicle. I am relying on the pictures and descriptions provided by the seller. I can tell based on pictures and conversations with the owner that this GTO is in excellent/preserved condition. It has not been fully restored but instead highly original. Please feel free to ask questions prior to bidding. I will make sure to get every questions answered in a timely basis.
I invite and encourage any interested party to inspect this car in Mount Dora FL. Seeing is really believing.
Take advantage of proxy bidding: Don't loose the vehicle at the last minute! There have been many people who have lost bids in the past because they were not familiar with proxy bidding. When you bid bid the maximum amount that you are willing to spend on the vehicle. Each time someone bids higher than your last bid eBay will automatically increment your bid by the minimum bid amount until it reaches your maximum. Don't get stuck loosing a good deal!
