Description

I'm a little older (66), etired car guy who has a real love for classic American Muscle cars. I really need to sell a few of my cars in order to purchase my friend's 1969BOSS 429! All pictures were taken by me in Las Vegas or at my second home in southern Utah. The California Black Plate is date code correct (1969) for the car and is registered to the GTO!
Please consider this absolutely gorgeous, umbers matching and heavily documented 1969 Pontiac GTO CONVERTIBLE finished in its original, ltra-rare and visually stunning color of LIMELIGHT GREEN METALLIC (code 59) with a flawless interior finished in PARCHMENT (code 257) and a WHITE Convertible Top ( code A). Add to the rarity, his drop top has ice cold FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING (code 582). Less than 10% (330) of all 69GTO convertibles came with A/C!!
This beautiful GTO was sold new on April 19, 969 by Dale Sharp Pontiac in Topeka, ansas to Mr. J. A. Stuckey, lso of Topeka. A four owner car, very former owner is known and documented! This dream machine has spent virtually its entire life in Kansas, alifornia and Nevada. There is no rust, r rust repairs, nywhere.
Now the greatest part: This GOAT is a 100% SURVIVOR with only one repaint. That's right, otal Originality. Original engine, riginal trans, riginal interior, riginal electric top, riginal clock, riginal radio, riginal rear axle, riginal wheels!! You get the picture!
As a SURVIROR it is in a number one (1) condition. Overall, would conservatively rate the car as a strong 2+, aybe a 1- condition. Recall the old adage: "IT'S ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE!! The odometer registers just 60,800 original miles.
This beautiful muscle car would never need a full restoration as it has never seen a speck of rust and retains all of its original sheet metal. The original body panels are laser straight all the way around the car and the Limelight Green paint is like glass. There are no scratches, ents, ings, tc., nywhere.
All of the chrome & stainless is absolutely beautiful as well. The undercarriage has to be the nicest original that I have ever seen. It is super-solid and nicely detailed from front to back.
Slide inside the original Parchment interior and it feels like 1969 all over again. All of the gauges, ights, linkers, orn, riginal push button AM/FM radio, riginal power top, ighter, verything, orks perfectly. As does the clock!!The interior is absolutely outstanding on this GTO.
Now let's get to the heart of the beast. Pop open the hood, nd nestled neatly inside the beautifully detailed engine bay is the original numbers matching 400/350 original motor with the correct (YS) code and engine pad stamping that matches the Protecto-Plate and VIN. The motor is linked to the original 3-speed Turbo Hydramatic Transmission and the original (code XH-HD) 3.23 Rear Axle with original Safe-T-Track.
The best thing about this gorgeous 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible is the way it drives and performs. She starts runs, rives, teers and brakes beautifully in every way with no issues whatsoever. When you get out on the open road, here are no vibrations, attles or squeaks and she tracks perfectly straight with plenty of power to spare. This GTO is an absolute blast to drive and the factory Power Steering makes maneuvering effortless. If it's hot outside, urn on the Factory Air Conditioning.
I can guarantee that you will get you plenty of attention driving this beautiful GTO. The Limelight Green exterior wrapped around the Parchment interior, ith the White Convertible Top, akes for a gorgeous color combination and you really have to see it in person to appreciate how beautiful it really is. I am always getting compliments from people on how it's one of the prettiest color combos that they have ever seen.
She sits on the original 14" Rally II Wheels w/ almost new tires.
We all know how important documentation is when it comes to classic cars, specially muscle cars. This GTO has loads of paperwork including the Original Window Sticker,Original Protecto-Plate, riginal Owner’s Manual, riginal 1969 Pontiac New Vehicle Warranty, wo sets of Original Keys still in their Dale Sharp Leather Jackets, itle & Registration History, eceipts and PHS paperwork to boot. This beautiful 1969 Pontiac GTO truly has it all, ith its numbers matching drive train, ncredible good looks, ull-proof documentation and outstanding drivability!!

What more can you ask for when investing in a Classic Car--I'll tell you what! How about a minimum of21 Documented Factory Options!! All are still in place and working!!! Here they are:

And now the clincher, t was recently owned by a Heisman Trophy Winner. He was impeccable in his maintenance of the car.

I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time and for any reason. My GTO is listed in other media. The GTO will not leave my possession until payment has been received, as cleared my bank and is in my account! No scams, lease.

If you would like to talk to me about the car, r its acquisition, lease call Rick at 562.209.2802. I do have two other cars that I will be selling/listing: A 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 409/409. The Beach Boys made it famous..." dual quad, -speed, ositraction 409"; and, 1966 Plymouth Satellite with a real 426 Wedge engine, ual quads, 27 trans, ositraction,Air Conditioning and Power Steering.
