Totally restored Solar Gold T/A with Camel Tan Deluxe Vinyl Interior. The car is an original WS6 equipped California car.
The car has been rebuilt from the subframe up and features:
- Heidts A-arms for improved handling
- Features four-wheel stainless steel disc brakes - that work fantastic
- Original WS6 equipped car with Stainless Steel 4-Wheel Disc Brakes
- California built car that features a 403ci engine that was totally rebuilt
- Engine features include: Olds Performance stud girdle that strengthens the block
- Edelbrock Performer Plus camshaft and valve train was installed for increased performance and features a 0.448-inch intake lift with 280 degrees duration and a 472-inch exhaust lift with 295 degrees duration
- Engine has a slight performance idle and provides improved performance overall
- Visually the engine looks completely original and it passes California smog laws
- Engine is backed by a B&M rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission
- Rearend features 3.43 gears and Positraction
- Exterior of the T/A is original down to the bird on the hood and the other special edition graphics
- New BF Goodrich Tires
- Interior has also been restored to original with the exception of the improved stereo radio
- Trunk is also original, ight down to the space-saver spare tire and original GM T-top bags
In 1978 the Gold Special Editon cars were only built from January to April so a total of 8,648 were produced. According to informed sources only 880 were produced with the 403ci engine. Today, ess than 5% of the Gold Special Edition T/As remain. The car has 150 miles since restoration and full documentation included with the car
