this 79 TA is original to include the matching numbers 301 HO and Transmission. This is a local car special orderd from Carlson Pontiac in Reedsburg Wisconsin, raded to Larkin Pontiac in Tomah Wisconsin where our oldest son purchased it. The car has never sat outside since 1993 plus from 1986 to 1993, as parked in garage most nights. Has not been driven in Winter since 1985. The paint is still very good for being painted in 1993. Would be nice if purchased in area. From 1993, he car was started every couple of months and let run until choke kicked off. We are selling it due to my health. We are down sizing and moving from Wisconsin to Florida. Do not have room for it plus have another classic car. The TA was also keep up and last summer, put the following items on new. New tires, ebuilt Rochester Carb, C compressor, rier and expansion valve. New brakes all around with new front rotors, nd rear drums turned and new pads, ll fluids changed to include rear end, lternator, attery, tarter plus things I can not remember. The car is an exceptional turning car, he front end is extremely tight. Just took off the front seat covers and the seats look like new. Just put in a new roof liner that is leather and matches the seats very well. This truly is a get in and drive anywhere though seems like a tire is out of balance. It is not close to being a perfect car, ut since all original, t would be easy to keep it that way. As stated, oes not use oil, oes not even drip any after being stored so long. I would be happy to answer in questions. I have tried to give you all the information that I can think of and this is NOT a junk car and being advertised as a good running car. I was really duped in buying a classic car off e-bay that needed nothing, nd $14,000.00 later, s still not prefect. Our house sold in 7 days after 3 offers and we are noted for keeping everything nice, ven in the country. Thank You.
Note: Forgot in condition report, he windows do need new moldings. Also, he driver side window has scratches in it, hough it works fine, ay want to replace. Car does not leak any place but in future may want to replace all rubber moldings, ike me, hey are getting old!
