Description

This is a 1981 pontiac firebird formula clone.It was painted a year ago but is not perfect and has some runs in the clear coat and missed a small repaired area without filler at the bottom of fender as shown.The bird decal on the spoiler has a corner peeling off.The motor is a 4.3L with a 4.9L intake,4bbl carb and Hei distributor.The cars runs good but the carb choke is not working and takes forever to warm up but once warmed up can be driven anywhere.It has a positraction rear end with I believe 308 gears.It has the trans am large front sway bar and rear sway bar.The A/C has been converted to R13 and works but has a slow leak and will need recharged.All the gauges work except the tach.It moves but not very much.Had new exhaust and muffler put on from mid car back with new tips about a year ago.Has new door glass seals inside and out.The carpet is worn and the drivers seat bottom is thin.The car is solid for its age.Even the rear area under the bumper is not rusted.It has 15X8 wheels but is not a 4 wheel disc car.The car has been sitting and not driven much but is licensed and insured.Will need to be gone over and freshened up.Best to come look at it in person if possible because it is hard to remember or notice everything.I also have a good running complete pontiac 400 with 6x heads that can be purchased sepperate and a turbo 400 transmission for an additional $750.00.Sold as is
