This Trans Am is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Dark Blue Metallic over Dark Blue deluxe Pimloco cloth interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured below and two original build sheets. The extremely low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the accompanying documentation and the clear Ohio title, ictured below, tating the mileage as "Actual." That means that all of codes, ates, nd stamping are original or correct for the car and in correct chronological order. In terms of value this is a very important factor and will become more vital in the years to come as the car gets older. Most importantly the engine is original to the car. The last six digits of the VIN, 08611, re stamped on the engine block and pictured below indicating that this is the original engine that was installed in the car brand new at the factory. The full stamping is "2BN108611" and "2" indicates the Pontiac division of GM, he "B" is the model year, 981, nd the "L" is the plant where the car was produced, an Nuys, A. All of the trim and paint codes are also correct for the car.

This Trans Am comes with a TON of original documentation including the original order form from Don Ayres Pontiac in Fort Wayne, N when the car was purchased brand new in 1980. Two original build sheets are included with the car. We removed the rear seat and discovered one of them in terrific condition. Please see the photo below of the build sheet still in the seat before it was removed. Also included with the car is the original owners manual, arranty book with the original owners name(Neil Applegate) on it, onsumer information booklet, elco Radio book, missions Information letter from the original dealer, aintenance booklet, compact spare tire pamphlet, nd even the GM envelope the original owner received at the dealer with his name still on it.
