Description

Up for sale is a 1988 Porsche 924s. Body is really clean, o rust, as a couple of small dents(see pics) Interior is in really good shape other then the rip that is in the driver seat. Carpet, eadliner and floor mates are in really good shape. Car has 106000 miles on the clock. Paint is in really good condition may need a little buffing. Transmission is good, rakes are good tires still have a lot of tread left on them. OK hear is where things get strange.I took this car on trade for some bodywork I was doing for a guy, hen I got the car it ran and drove excellent. The car sat for a couple of months when I pulled it my shop to do some detailing on it. Got the car cleaned up and went to pull it out of my shop and that's where my nightmare began. Car would start but had a rough idle almost like it was not hitting all cylinders or lack of fuel. Did a fuel test and a spark test on all cylinders. Had spark, ad fuel pressure 30 psi to be exact, ould fire and die then at times would just turn over. I'm not a foreign car mechanic by no means so I am at wits end. Went to pull out of my shop and the and the little ball on the trans cable broke, hich brings me here. I would love to keep the car and toy around next summer, ut I just don't have the time nor the hair left on my head to get this car running. My restoration shop is just to busy.I'm gonna cut my loses and sell the car, am sure if you know these cars it is probably an easy fix. With that being said I believe I have disclosed everything I can. Car will be sold as-is no warranty. $500.00 deposit with 24 hr. at the end of auction. paid by pay pal and the balance do at time of pick up. Buyer must arrange for the car to picked up by a hauler do to the fact that the car does not run at this time. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me I will try to answer the best I can. Thanks and Happy Bidding. Bill
