The car I have for sale appears to have been originally Bahama Yellow (cool color!!), ut back in 1978 the car was stripped down to be repainted in it’s current white and was never finished, ow mind you back in 78 this was just a old used car so there is some over spray here and there and well it’s been sitting since 78 in a old shop so it has new dings and scratches, he paint work was never finished and they didn’t do the best job to start with so now’s your chance to put it back to it’s original color and rebuild from there.
I was told it ran when it was parked…ok I was actually told the motor was rebuilt and only has 7 and a half miles on it, ut I have no verification of that. I have not tried to start the car as with it sitting for so long I’m sure you’ll probably want to pull it and put is some fresh seals and give it a full tune up before going all silly and just putting in a battery and turning the key.
I believe I have a good portion of the parts, few of the parts I know I do not have are the front windshield, he outside door handles, oor panels (have some misc pieces) as a bonus I do have the original rear window..so yes, t’s a hard window targa which I personally like a lot better than the soft windows, ut that's just me. I mocked up the front and put the headlights into place along with the turn signals and other bits just to show the parts, ut of course they weren’t bolted in and will all be packaged for you. One of the headlights does have a broken lens, he taillight and turn signals are good used..but probably won’t qualify for concourse restoration. I will include everything you see in the pictures and more, uch as the bumper guards and a bunch of misc items, hey will all need restoration as once again they were taken off in 1978 and just stored. If there are any particular parts you’d like to see I’ll be happy to let you know if I have it and shoot you a picture. The car does appear to have had some new floors put in back in 1978, here does not appear to be any other rust on the car that I've been able to find, ront suspension area is nice, torsion'sarea's all look solid this is a great base for a full restoration.
If you are going to be in the Sacramento, alifornia area I can try to arrange time for you to come and view it, ut all sales will be done through Ebay, o I will not end the auction early unless you are trying to pay me some above market price you can feel free to shoot me offers, ut we both know these cars are in high demand..
I do have a clean California title in my name, o shipping international is not a problem. I am not a Porsche expert if you are that is awesome contact me through Ebay and if you seem like a legit buyer and not just a Tim Wester you can come and see the car and the parts that go with the car.
I am not a shipping agent, f you need a shipping quote on this car a few resources that I have used in the past are (Domestic- Jay at Jaysautotransport.com, e is a shipping broker, y from zip code is 95628 tell him it's not a running vehicle to get an accurate quote). For International shipping I use West Coast Shipping out of the Oakland, alifornia area..contact Steve@WCShipping.com and he can fill you in on International shipping and rates) or if this isn't your first rodeo then of course you can use whom ever you like and I'll be happy to work with them.
