Recently Serviced and Thoroughly Detailed For model years 1974/5 the factory marked the 25th year of Porsche sport cars - With a few significant changes for the 911, ncluding a 2687cc engine with K-Jetronic CIS Bosch fuel injection and slightly reconfigured bodywork. The standard models retained beautiful narrow rear arches of the old 2.4L, hile running a detuned version of the RS engine.
Recently acquired from 31 years of previous ownership, 115211401 came to us from Fallon, evada, here it resided the majority of its life. Originally sold new to California, he Porsche was optioned with California Equipment, orged Alloy Wheels (Fuchs), oni Shocks, ara top and 5-Spd Transmission wearing Copper Brown Metallic paint over Cinnamon Leatherette upholstery. Years of loving care in an arid environment have beautifully preserved this outstanding 911S.
The car displays an untouched and remarkably original cabin with factory upholstery, arpeting and finishes throughout. Equipment includes air conditioning, orrect Blaupunkt cassette player, nd sisal mats over very clean carpeting. Original wheel lock and antenna keys rest in the glove compartment, long with a Porsche paint touch up applicator. All factory installed Sekurit glass and Sigla windshield remain, ncluding the California emissions window sticker. The rich, ronze paint presents suitably for a driver, s it was reapplied to the exterior panels only many years ago, hile preserving the original factory door jambs, ecals and body rubbers. We have thoroughly inspected the car and have not found any signs of corrosion or collision damage to an exceptionally clean body and undercarriage. The front compartment shows to be very much untouched with important items present, uch as the Targa top case, ra and original tool roll, s well as the space saver spare tire and jack - both appear unused or to have ever been removed.
The S shows good road manners and has a soft ride thanks to brand new Koni shocks and 185/70hr15 Vredestein Classic tires mounted on the original and unrestored dated coded Fuchs. It starts easily, dles well, ower is abundant, teers as directed and brakes nicely. A recent tune-up addressed all new shifter bushings and couplers - front to rear, uel pump, nd accumulator and hatch dampers. Aside from the servicing the car also received a thorough detailing from top to bottom.
Serviced and ready to driver this example will offer the joy of early 911 ownership without the huge price tag of some of its counterparts. We encourage serious consideration of this great and peppy 911S Targa.
The air-cooled 911 continues to gain enormous appreciation among enthusiasts. Many were driven hard and put away wet - as they say, o clean, onest examples such as this particular car are few and far between. $48,250.00
